Food was good. Can't complain. Got an omelette and french toast. Pricey but not overly pricey and expected for the neighborhood. Service was excellent and would come again. Nothing spectacular or memorable. There are other hotspots nearby but with much longer waits.

I went brunch here about a month ago on a Saturday by myself. I usually order out if I am by myself, but I wanted to eat out today and I appreciate they did not make me wait for a table for two. There were no tables left for two so they gave me a table for four, which I appreciate greatly. However, they were very understaffed - it seemed like there was one waiter for the whole inside of the restaurant and people were getting inpatient with him. I hope they are working to improve the staffing concerns.

Cute spot to grab brunch or snack! I recommend any of their bakery items especially the French toasts, which includes savory or sweet options. It also offers your classic foods like soups and salads, but the real standout is still their fresh pastries.

Kirsch provides an upscale, but relatable experience in dining. We visited for brunch after the NYC Half Marathon after a recommendation from friends in the niegjborhood. After a short wait, we ordered sweet AND savory French toast, quiche, and the full english breakfast. We ended up passing each dish around the table because of the unique tastes each had. The owner is also hands on in a great way and we appreciated seeing him working on the floor.

The best croissant in the city! After a long search (seriously, read my previous reviews to check out the other bakeries I went to) I finally found my favorite bakery in NYC! Located at the UWS it is also a great place to sit and enjoy baked goods with family and kids.

What a fantastic place to stop by for brunch!! It was super busy but the service was friendly and relatively speedy all things considered. I love the little goat cheese puffs they serve with some of the dishes, though they are a little on the salty side for me. The bread and pastry basket was delicious, and the quiche was so good. I also really liked the contemporary decor. I would definitely recommend for a tasty weekend breakfast or brunch!!

We had a great Brunch experience!
We took an incredible omelet which comes with two custom toppings, home fries and salad, and a French toast (on the photo below) with amazingly good home made Lox on top of a fluffy like a cloud toast!
The service was at the first class level and we even got some complementary bubbling cocktail "Kirsh Royal", while waiting for the table!
Of course after the brunch we took home some goodies from the bakery shop, which both salted and sweet where as special as the bakery itself!
Special thanks to the Chef, for this AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Just tried the sandwiches and the burger but they were all great. Loved the homemade fries and the very generous portions. Service was great too.

Wow wow wow! French Toast is out of this world! The Lox French Toast was a flavor explosion! Not the cheapest place..expect about $20 for a breakfast ..but definitely worth a visit!

Delicious food with a higher price tag. Nice personnel, great ambience.

Very nice and the service was great. We got in with no waiting (party of 3). Lox is a thinly cut salmon.

I've been there for brunch multiple times. Every time was a great experience! Affordable and great service!

This place has the best pastries! They're light and buttery and extremely fresh. The pancakes are just okay, but it's the pastries that make it worth the visit.

Seriously the best French toast with lox ever. And the best quiche I've ever eaten. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Must go again....

Worst SERVICE I have ever witnessed ! Omg! Firstly when we got in, nobody greeted us- we are experienced travelers and frequents restaurants especially high standard restaurants and we have never had such a poor service- after wondering around the place the lady in the counter stopped texting her boyfriend and gave us some attention. This didn't help - she was rude, Not patient , and basically just wanted us to get the hell out of there.
We were shocked but still hungry so we sat down after ordering in the counter. "Go take your own water from the fridge" she said- not even a "please". Than when the food came, the waiter not even bothered to look at us- just throw the food on the table and left- didn't give us even a fork and a knife to eat the food with!!!!!!!! So rude!!!! We got up and went to ask it , got a bit mad and mentioned it to the waiter - and another waiter started to give us attitude and say we are not polite!!!! WTF!!!! We had the worst breakfast since we started traveling 2 months ago! NYC has so much great spots to eat all over- DONT waste your time here in the KIRSH

Short wait on a Saturday at brunch time with good e-communication; friendly & attentive staff; varied menu; all around good experience; would definitely go back.

This is a place is not to be missed. We used their Milk Bread to make French toast at home. Real Maple syrup, Irish butter, and organic eggs and milk has never had a more worthy companion. Also the owner is ridiculously handsome and good looking, the staff all had proper manners and the vibe is peaceful. Dead Popovers becomes the delightfully reborn Kirsh mainstay of the upper west side, conveniently next door to the Famous Barney Greengrass fish and bagels. Brunch on the upper west side just got Tight!

Unbelievably good food and excellent wait staff.
I just wish they had a better alcohol selection. Sundays were made for Bloody Marys (which they don’t have)

Took the family and everyone loved it. That’s a first. Lemonade was 10/10 and meals were visually appealing and tasty.

A great place for home food eatery, that fills your heart with memories of your grandmother’s cooking.

Fantastic food, and a manager who clearly cared. One of the best brunch spots ive ever been to
Shara Perlman Borus
Amazing food all day long! I love the quiche, French toast and omelettes during the day and the lamb shank, chicken and salmon are wonderful for dinner. The bakery is amazing too- pies, danishes, cookies, and of course fresh baked bread all day long. Check it out!
Laurie Tarlowe Kimmelstiel
We stopped in last night close to 9 pm and was delighted to find this lovely cafe with with a warm and friendly wait staff. Delighted (actually, over the moon)to hear of your location in Jerusalem too. We will certainly be back to partake of dinner! Good luck to you!
Renée Galyean Campbell
Their French toast is seriously amazing. Definitely a must try. And the manager was very gracious.
