I thoroughly enjoyed my ham and cheese sandwich and salad, and it was so nice to not have to worry about what was and was not gluten free, as the entire space is dedicated to gluten free space. It was a little pricey, especially for the baked goods as I spent about $40 for a sandwich and the chocolate croissant.

My husband and I had a great experience here. I loved the avocado toast! I will agree with other reviewers that it was a bit overpriced.

An amazing gluten free restaurant with tasty food. I thought the avocado toast was the best part. It was flavorful and a nice portion size. The pastries were also delicious. The staff was friendly and kind, and the service was good too. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Noglu is a charming little corner cafe on the upper east side. I was slightly horrified by the prices, but these are possibly the first truly uncompromisingly delicious baked goods I’ve had since learning I had celiac disease. Quiche, apple tart, banana cake, all excellent (albeit perhaps slightly on the too-sweet side). The pastry is thin but firm, and very buttery. The cake had a wonderfully crisp yet elastic outside and chunks of banana in its very moist centre.
Cons: the staff weren’t particularly friendly and had no clue about the veggie bowl. I ordered it anyway and it turned out to be a plate (go figure) of very ordinary undressed veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, and a small amount of quinoa). Way overpriced at $24. Almost docked it a star but the baked goods were truly exceptional.

Slightly overpriced, but delicious gluten-free food. It's worth it if you're nearby and looking for a GF bite. The sandwiches are really good. So are the pastries (corn muffins, chocolate chip cookies).

Rating should really be a 4+.
This place is good, plenty of space to sit, coffee and pastries are good. Much better than spots in the city rates 4,5+
Instagram ladies: the corner table allows a nice UES view for you. Check my last pic :)

Loved going to this totally gluten-free restaurant. The sandwiches were a bit pricey, but it is Manhattan ...
The grilled cheese was delicious. The coffee, however, was terrible. It was way too strong.
I would absolutely go back here.

This cream puff was sooooooo good. And the chocolate croissant was fantastic. I’ve come back every week to try something different.

It was very exciting to try the many options that I don’t usually get to eat. I loved the atmosphere and was happy to sit there for a while. The food itself was pleasant, sweet and heavy. We had a quiche and some baked goods. It was fun as a celiac person it was fun to try things I don’t normally get to eat. I would Asya this place is better for the sweet things than the savoury things.

This is a great place for people who want to eat gluten free.
The choice of food is very large. It doesn't matter whether you want to eat cold, warm, sweet or salty. This bakery has everything your heart desires.

Great quality, especially the depth of flavors – e.g. pumpkin muffin has a fantastic mix of spices, and fruit muffins have lots of character (I got a deal here through a 3rd party app so I can’t comment on prices/value)

The soup was tasty, however, as my chai latte it would have taste better if they were hot and not just lukewarm. It was not really busy so maybe they could have preheated the cup and bowl. Still recommend as overall the food and pastries are tasty and the upstairs is nice for relaxing cuppa without the hustle and bustle

They got delicious French food for gluten free. Love the soups but the sandwich was a little shy on the size. Quiche is delicious with good size! It would be a good combination of quiche and soup for a meal there. The only shortcoming is no brewed ice tea that would be my only complaint.

It was wonderful to walk into a pasty shop and be able to eat everything on the menu. I brought some goodies home for my family to taste and everything was positively delicious. We sampled the cream puffs, chocolate eclair, chocolate tart, blueberry tart, baguettes and croissants. Chef Kim is a culinary magician! I look forward to returning soon.

Love the cakes here, the tarts are amazing and it's great for a light lunch with a good range of salads, sandwiches and quiche. The coffee is fresh and there's usually room to sit and enjoy your meal/treats. 100% dedicated gluten free, not that you can usually tell

The pastries here were excellent; even my fiance, who doesn't have to eat gluten free, liked it!

We loved everything we got here. The hamburger was especially good! Wish we had this place where I live.

I took my daughter here for her 30th birthday brunch. She loved it! Since being gluten intolerant she hasn't been able to enjoy a lot of the classic French bakery foods. She absolutely loved it and said it tasted just like the ones she would get when living in France. Highly recommended.

Delicious and such a treat for a girl with celiac!!

Love their Quiche and pastries! I have been diagnosed with Celiac and struggle to find tasty baked goods. This is by far the best. Only wish it was closer to Brooklyn!
