This Tibetan food was like having flavor bombs go off in my mouth (example: eggplant and mushrooms). Loved loved LOVED the momos (dumplings both steamed and fried). The only issue (more like a personal preference) I had with the food was with the rice, but I'm used to a specific type of rice and method of cooking. The rice was almost like a pilaf. The service was attentive and kind, and our water was filled frequently, and the food came quickly. The atmosphere is okay - nothing fancy, but fine. Overall, we loved it here and will be coming back for sure.

Have been recommended to try this place for a while now and finally got to try it! Loved the chicken fried rice and their momos, all of it was served hot. We also got the singapore tofu noodles but the green pepper taste was slightly overwhelming, still good but will be trying something else next time. The service was attentive but not overbearing and the waitress was very nice. Not crowded either, we were seated immediately when we got there and it was 6 on a friday. Great atmosphere with natural light and gives a cozy restaurant feeling. Would definitely recommend to anyone near the avenues that wants authentically made meals!

Humble spot in the Avenues with great staff and great food! We got the chow mein, chicken curry, and mango lassi (recommend to us), and they were amazing! Loved the vibe of this place, it’s very homey. Would definitely recommend

I hate to give this place 4 stars because the food was sooooo good, however it took an hour to get appetizers out, and then another 10 minutes for the main course. It was Saturday evening at dinner time and they were clearly busy and understaffed but an hour is a really long wait time and no one came over to update us or apologize. The food was so good that I'll come back on a less busy day and see if they were just having an off night.

I had beef phingsha and steamed veggie momos. It was so delicious! There were sauces on the side too. My favorite was the sweet tangy one, and it went well with the momos. Service was great. The hostess was very kind. Highly recommended.

A gem of a restaurant in the Avenues neighborhood of Salt Lake City. We started with a raspberry lassi — bracing. It left me wondering why other south Asian restaurants do not offer this flavour. Apps of lentil soup and deep fried beef momos followed. The momos were accompanied by a delicious ginger dipping sauce and a very spicy chili sauce. Mains followed with a Tibetan take on chicken sitting atop Singapore noodles and chicken curry served with rice. I have put the restaurant on my return visit list.

Came an tried the Momo's , they were good! 😊 Also tried the tibetan tea! It was very interesting an different!😄 Boy,an the red hot sauce is awesome!! 👍 👍 But the lighting inside the restaurant is kinda dark 😳, but it wasn't like lights out!🤣 the dining area looked clean from what I could see! The restroom were clean too! ☺️ this little diner is in a small neighborhood area, close to downtown! Vegetarian friendly!! 😄 ohh yes an parking is horrible! 😂

What great find! The food was prepared fresh and served hot. The server was very helpful and explained different dishes and the traditional way to enjoy them. A nice relaxed atmosphere to sit and enjoy a quiet meal. The momos were delicious and I particularly like the ginger sauce available at the table. There was also a spicy red sauce that had a great flavor and a slow burn that I could really feel a few minutes after tasting it. I always try mango lassi when it is offered and theirs did not disappoint. I was also surprised by the reasonable prices and generous portions. Definitely worth a return trip to try some more of their dishes!

Some of the most friendly wait staff I’ve had in Salt Lake. Extremely tasty food for a decent price. There’s no bells and whistles, just great food. I will for sure be going back often! We ordered: -spicy potatoes -veggie momo (half fried, half steamed) -chicken curry -hot chai

I think I'll regret making this review, but here it goes. The space inside is fairly small and tables can fill up quickly. You may even have the opportunity to find yourselves sharing a table with other patrons. The place gives off a morning deli/coffee shop vibe with the faint aromas of noodle, rice and curry culinary delights in the air. Come at a prime time and you may find yourself needing to wait for a while as your meal is being prepared from scratch. With limited staff, the wait may feel lengthy so be prepared to chitchat with your meal partner. The ambiance is very conducive to a mellow evening and relaxed time. Don't show up in a hurry as you're going to need a bit of time to soak it all in. The food is the star of the show. Their vegetarian offerings are plentiful and absolutely delicious, along with the non vegetarian dishes. Portions are big and prices are small which is a rarity these days, so come hungry and leave stuffed. All of this leaves plenty of pocket room to tip well. If you're looking for bland and flavorless then you should consider other places, but if you're looking for some of the best comfort food at a spot with mellow vibes and even mellower prices then you'd be hard pressed to do better. My regret is that now the next time I go my wait may be even longer 😢 😂
