Our server, Hayat, made our dining experience truly exceptional! She exuded politeness and sweetness, providing prompt service from the moment we were seated. The dishes she recommended were all delicious, and we loved her smile and service. The children thoroughly enjoyed the meal, especially the fantastic rice and garlic naan. she was also very nice to the kids. It's definitely worth the detour! we loved this nice place!
Jessica was a great waitress. Stopped through SLC and looked up must eat places and this place came up. Definitely lives up to its reviews and the service was incredible. Fast as well considering how busy it was when I went. Would definitely come back and definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area!
The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing. I was super surprised at how many allergy friendly items there were on the menu. If you are vegan or vegetarian or have food sensitivities, this is a great restaurant. Even their Naan is made with chick peas so it is gluten free. The food was delicious at an affordable price. Our waitress Hyatt was very helpful.
Had an amazing experience. Service was extraordinary. Hayat took care of our table, made great recommendations, always kept waters and drinks full, and was so kind. We will definitely be back again soon. Thankful for an authentic experience. Highly recommend.
We had just left Color Me Mine next door and the smells coming from here smelled so good we had to stop and eat. We’re glad we did because the food and service were both incredible, Hayat took great care of us. Great vegan selection as well. We will be back!!
Server number 3 and his boss were such a delight to chat with. We connected over my trip to India and it was such a blissful experience. They even brought us an exceptionally delicious rice pudding dessert. Overall the food, service and experience was amazing.
We got mango chicken and butter chicken and they were both exceptional! As well as the naan and samosas. 🧡
Stopped by while visiting from NYC after finding this restaurant via Google. The 4.9 is well deserved. Rose Lassi was delicious. They have 5 degrees of spiciness to choose from. Rogan Josh at very spicy / level 4 was superb. Garlic naan is the way to go. The wooden booths are cozy and charming. Our server Jessica was very nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
Hayat was our server and she was amazing! Very polite and sweet and very quick! We were seated right away, and scanned the QR code for the menu. Lots of options and variety, vegetarian options were available as well. I got the butter chicken and husband got the chicken tikka masala. Mine was mild and tasted incredible and he got the medium spice but said it was pretty hot but liked it. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend!
Came here while on a trip visiting SLc. Amazing food, best Indian food I’ve had (and I’ve eaten a lot of indian food around the country!). So fresh and authentic. This is a must-eat restaurant. Incredibly quick service, it was like magic. The staff was so kind and helpful. Hayat was an amazing host for our table, her service was A+. She made us feel so at home.

I became obsessed with indian food after thevvery firstbtime I tried it in a little mom and pop's restaurant in Bremerton. Ever since, I hadn't found a place to compare to it, until now. I luckily stayed right next to Mombai House on my trip to Salt Lake so I was pleasantly surprised when I found it. The food and the service were amazing! Hayat was my server, super sweet and attentive. I love chicken tikka masala, so she recommended their new mombai tikka masala and it was excellent. I had high expectations after all the reviews and it beyond exceeded them. The smell and flavors of all the spices was so perfectly balanced that you could taste each one without overpowering each other. I ordered it very spicy and it hit the spot for my Mexican palette perfectly! The garlic naan had the ideal amount of garlic as to not overwhelm the main dish. I also ordered the kheer for dessert, which reminded me of arroz con leche but with cardamon instead of cinnamon, ugh, so good. They don't take reservations, but Paul at the front desk gave me his number so I could contact him if I was bringing a large party the following day. I'd come back tobSLC just to eat at Mombay House again.
