Had a reservation here and it was SO worth it! Our waiter was so kind and attentive and made suggestions for what we could get. We got the Don Juan roll (my favorite), the Jenny (too lemony for me), and the Fire Breathing Roll (really good!) along with dessert at the end. We ended up getting the chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream and it did NOT disappoint! Happy to have tried this place. Pricy but worth it!
We received friendly and attentive service from our server Charlie. We tried five sushi rolls and they were all excellent! Our favorite was the Jenny roll. Everything tasted fresh. Food presentation was good, especially the mussel shooters. Overall a good experience for our anniversary.
This was our first visit to Tsunami and I must say it was so so good. And actually very reasonably priced!! We could have very easily spent $30-$40 more for what we got at other locations. Everything we had tasted delicious and fresh. They have a Jalapeño Teriyaki sauce that is incredible, it comes with the Shrimp Poppers but I ended up dipping some sushi in it as well. The only thing I would complain about was that the service was just okay, our server refilled our drinks once during the hour visit.. and I have seen on here there are lots of people that have complained about their service so they weren’t wrong.
I would highly recommend the Don Juan roll or the Cococabana roll for you heat lovers.
First let me tell you the patio is perfect. Bliss. Was it 94°F when I was there - yes. We’re there shade providing umbrellas - also yes. Was Mikey literally the best server- also yes again.
Food came out quick. Was absolutely great. This experience was fantastic! Enjoyed it from first to last minute. Wholly recommend tsunami.
Also bonus - you almost have whale views from the patio.
Tried this place for the first time. It was delicious! We ordered 3x rolls and the salmon wontons. All were delicious and high quality. Rolls were Vegas, Jennie, and Shrimp Tempura I believe.
Yummy sushi! The place is nicely decorated! Tons of things to choose from the menu. The restaurant specials were great. I highly recommend the Executive and the Shrimp appetizer. The passion fruit crepes was so good! If you’re craving Japanese food then this is the place to go. I definitely recommend this place.
I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried tsunami on 9th. The sushi was so flavorful and everything seemed well balanced. Even the fried items were well done and didn’t leave an oily taste in the mouth. This is now our go-to sushi spot!
After a long trip and flight back I really desperately wanted a bowl of miso soup and some plain rice, that was it. A week of unfamiliar altitudes and food my body wasn't used to was less than easy on my stomach, but when I arrived here everything smelled so good that I had to try and order of dumplings as well. They were definitely worth it!
The server was super nice about my weird order, even when I asked for some pickled ginger on the side of my minimalistic meal. I tipped her somewhere a little over 50% because she was so accommodating and helpful to someone with such a tiny and cheap order.
I'll have to come back sometime to try more of the food they actually offer here, but if it's anything like the service then I have no doubt it'll be amazing.
This place has AMAZING service. Their atmosphere and waiters definitely stand out! The male manager on duty seemed a bit annoyed when we came in and didn't try to hide it, but our waitress was amazing!!! The sushi itself isn't too special. The rolls have a lot of rice, but you do get quite a few pieces per roll! Their coconut dessert is to die for!
I’ve always had great sushi at tsunami. I can’t remember all the names of the rolls we got but they were all so tasty.
We had an appetizer with beef asparagus and a teriyaki sauce. It’s by far my favorite thing at tsunami.
