Higher Ground Coffee is a hidden gem! Small business vibes with unique flavors, yummy treats, great decor, good music, and relaxed vibes. A perfect place to take it slow and have a nice coffee, or a great place to study. The service was great, too! She was personable, kind and started conversation. The coffee was delicious. We'd be back & recommend!
An artsy cafe with a patio, Higher Ground did not disappoint. I got the honey lavender latte at the suggestion of the barista, and it had a nice earthy, sweet flavor. It wasn’t too expensive either, compared to other coffee shops around. The parking situation is not the best, however. Otherwise, great spot.
Just consistently good coffee with great customer service. I still need to try the sandwiches. But the prices are also amazing. Very few places where you can get a quality latte for less than $5. I’ve never had a less than great experience at Higher Ground. It’s typically my afternoon latte stop and there’s always a place to sit and a nice easy going atmosphere.
We stopped in for a couple of dirty chai lattes and found a cozy spot to shack up for some serious studying.
We picked a busy time of day, the line took about 15 minutes for us to place our order. It’s apparent that was due to the great service and amazing lattes they were delivering that day!
The place is small but has a second level balcony that has some additional seating. Plenty of power strips for all of our technology that we can’t go without.
Very clean considering how many people were in such a small space and also very clean restroom!
We’ll definitely be back!
Higher Ground is the absolute best neighborhood coffee shop. It’s become a sort of watering hole for the area - a place where everyone stops for a pre-work coffee, a breakfast sandwich before skiing, or a place to relax and sip on the weekends. The baristas are amazing, the music and ambiance is ideal, and the coffee and food is great.
Higher Ground is a very tasty and unique coffee house in Salt Lake City with awesome ski town vibes. They have great coffee and plenty of choices on how to consume it. The vibe inside is a awesome little cozy spot for anything. Studying, music, or just meeting up. Defiantly a spot to check out if you have not already.
The Tiramisu latte is so yummy!! Wow!!! This coffee shop is smaller than I thought it would be from the pictures. It seems pretty busy, and luckily there is plenty of seating.
Favorite little spot to grab some coffee, almost always the barista’s are on point. Gave it 4 cause it gets tight. But what can you do.🤷🏽♂️
As I frequent coffee shops all over the valley to utilize Wi-Fi, I’ll happily drive past several to go to higher ground. Locally owned and operated, awesome coffee and fresh sandwiches.
Wow :D This is the best breakfast place I know in the area. I haven't been there in a long time, but the people there seem to care about the quality and service without busting your wallet. Great egg sandwich. I wish more companies were like this. I get more value out of that than just the materialistic trade, I kept a feeling long after and my belly is still happy. They made me feel welcome even though I probably don't fit their typical demographic, unlike a lot of places stuck in their clique. Nice place to chill and read, they have games too and niche items.
