Loved this place. I ordered the gyoza and shredded char Sui ramen and both dishes were yum. Probably one of the best ramen places in Minneapolis. The staff is also very prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some nice authentic ramen. Also plenty of parking outside. I will certainly visit again.

Title: A Hidden Gem of Authentic Ramen in Minneapolis My experience at Ichiddo Ramen was nothing short of remarkable. Despite visiting during a quieter hour at 4 PM, the staff provided a heartwarming welcome that instantly set a positive tone for our dining experience. Every staff member, from Jess in the kitchen to the attentive waitresses, greeted us with warm, sincere smiles - a testament to the excellent service culture they've nurtured. I had heard some online chatter regarding undercooked noodles, so I approached my order with a touch of caution. But to my delight, the noodles were cooked to absolute perfection. It's important to realize that in the US, many of us are accustomed to overly soft, overcooked noodles. The slightly firm, al dente texture of Ichiddo's noodles, however, is a mark of authentic ramen and is far from being undercooked. It was a refreshing change, and one that truly enhanced my meal. As for the rest of the experience, Ichiddo ticked all the boxes. The quality and taste of the food were top-notch, and the portions were generous, satisfying even for big eaters. The interior decor further enhanced the dining experience, exuding a tasteful blend of modern and traditional aesthetics. For those who have previously left negative reviews, I implore you to revisit with an open mind. Understanding the intricacies of authentic ramen could lead to a more gratifying experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Ichiddo Ramen to all my family members and coworkers seeking an authentic ramen experience. I will undoubtedly be a frequent patron, revisiting this delightful corner of Minneapolis regularly. My visit to Ichiddo Ramen was an experience that not only exceeded expectations but truly provided a taste of Japan in Minneapolis.

An unassuming restaurant with amazingly delicious food. This is a hidden gem for sure! Probably the best ramen I’ve ever had!

Delicious food and they have a parking lot! The veggie ramen was flavorful and in a generous portion. Our server was helpful and very friendly. Minneapolis has some great ramen restaurants so we're fortunate!

Excellent soup, good noodles, and great toppings. We tried spicy miso and seafood and liked both. On a weekday night, it wasn’t crowded which made made it very relaxing.

This was our first visit to Ichiddo Ramen. The food and service were good. The portion size senses small compared to the price. We ordered calamari #10 and streamed bun with fried chicken #3, Char Siu Ramen #17, Beef Ramen #18 + cabbage, and Red Curry Ramen #27A The food was good. We did feel the noodles were a bit under done. But the biggest surprise was the portion size for everything but the noodles. For the appetizers, the calamari was 5 pieces + sauce, great taste, and texture... breading was also done well. The steam bun with fried chicken was yummy but over a few bites later. I liked the sauce, mayo, and lettuce... but it was not enough to share. Reach of our Ramen dishes were great! The Red Curry Ramen was spicy! And good. It came with a few bean sprouts and some ground meat and 1 shrimp. My wife added cabbage to her beef ramen... and laughed when she saw how much cabbage a $1.5 got her... cabbage should be pretty cheap... and cutting it up should not cost too much... we thought they could do better. My son enjoyed his Char Dui Ramen, but had to laugh at fish cake, a thin slice of fish cake... we thought of it makes the menu description it should be a bit more substantial. All in all, we enjoyed the food... but would probably cross the street where the portions are a bit more generous.

We did a delivery order and we ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen and Mary ordered the Red Curry Ramen. The noodles could have been cooked a bit more, I'm not sure if they did it super Al Dente due to it being a delivery order but I think it was under done. Anyways the broth was super good for both of the Ramens and the egg was cooked perfectly as well as the meat. Overall it was a great Ramen place!

It was a cold night and Ichiddo Ramen was the perfect place to go. We started off with calamari and little fried chicken pieces. I forgot the name but they were delicious. Served with a wonderful spicy sauce. The calamari was so good. Fried perfectly and tender not chewy. The broth in the ramen was so creamy and flavorful. Ramen was cooked perfectly. I tried an authentic Japanese lychee soda and it was delicious. I am now a fan of this place and will be returning on many cold nights.

First off, this is what green tea is supposed to taste like. They had a lot of great ramen options for a cold winter day. They were able prepare them with gluten free noodles in most cases to make the gluten friendly (not gluten-free). I think its interesting as a Japanese cuisine restaurant, they don't have tamari. Tamari in place of soy sauce would have made these gluten free. It was also interesting they didn't cut the egg in half. The service was super nice and attentive. I will return to this restaurant.

The place was pretty spacious and clean, and the servers were really nice. The ramen noodles felt a bit hard for my taste, but that’s subjective. Pleasant dining experience overall.
