Visited Benihana for a Nice dinner In Key West. Took a little while to be seated but other than that, every thing else was good. Food was good (Tried the Filet Mignon, Fried Rice, and Shrimp) but recommended making a reservation ahead of time.

Not many options for the Japanese Steakhouse experience here in Key West. The Benihanna experience is consistent in most locations that I have tried around the country. Both times I've been to this location, the food was kinda bland. But the kids really enjoy the "Dinner & Show" experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my family at Benihana Key West to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked through the door, the welcoming atmosphere enveloped us, thanks to the gracious hosts. A special shoutout to Joselyn, our server for the evening, and not for the first time! Her unparalleled service and attention to detail truly elevated the dining experience. She has an intuitive knack for timing, and her recommendations were spot-on, making our celebration even more enjoyable. The pinnacle of our visit was undoubtedly the "chef's show". The chef, whose name unfortunately escapes me (not sure Kiko?), put on a captivating culinary performance that had us all mesmerized. His skill and artistry transformed the meal into a true spectacle, elevating not just the flavors but also the overall dining experience. Shortly after the chef's show, the lady manager came over to our table to check on us. Her attentive and caring demeanor assured us that we were in the best hands, reinforcing that customer satisfaction is a top priority at Benihana. But what made the evening truly magical was the collective effort of the staff to make my daughter feel like the star she is on her special day. There was a genuine warmth that radiated from every corner of the restaurant, making it an unforgettable occasion for us. If you're in search of a place that not only offers exceptional food but also excels in customer service, look no further than Benihana. Great dining experience! Service was fantastic, honestly the best experience we’ve ever had at a Benihana. Food was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was amazing. Our party of 7 was beyond satisfied. Steak was very tender f’er. Chicken was wonderful. The chicken friend rice was phenomenal. The ginger dressing was very fresh. Everything was really great. Our chef was full of personality and had cool stories to tell. His talents were awe inspiring! We will for sure be back.

Great view! Always fun with the chefs cooking in front of you Always good! Bring a sweater because it's chilly inside the restaurant until the grill is lit.

I looooveeee Benihana and hibachi restaurants, I have been to them all over the US. This location by far had the best tasting food. Our cook Nacho was absolutely fabulous, he seasoned the food but did not make it over salty, it was cooked to perfection and fast. He paid attn to small details and asked each party exactly how they wanted their food plated. We really enjoyed ourselves. The portions also seemed bigger then other locations as I usually can finish my meal, but me and my partner had leftovers. The zucchini was perfectly cooked and not over done. Our waitress was friendly and very good. Overall best food we ate on vacation. And the view was amazing it is literally across the street from the Atlantic Ocean with nothing but water to see for miles.

Incredible Benihanas! I have been going to Benihanas since I was a child. That has been at different locations, and some that I have been to haven't been that great in recent years. This Benihanas is incredible. Really great service and the food was better than any other Benihanas. I really enjoyed our experience! Juan the executive chef of this location did incredible as well! Not to mention you have an incredible view! If we are very back in the keys we will be back! Such a unique Benihanas compared to other franchise locations!

This is an odd review to write. The location is beautiful. We came because of the advertised sushi selections, we don’t love the popular cooking on the table. The only table seating for non table cooking customers was outside. It was warm, so asked to stay in. Only bar seating was available, so we sat. We were promptly greeted and our order taken. This is the odd part. It seemed like the staff uses the bar as their lounge. The hostess and another employee sat near us an chatted away nearly the whole time we were there. There were four or five employees hanging around the bar when they weren’t working. The only time the hostess got up was when someone walked in the door. Honestly, it felt like we were an afterthought, shuffled to the back room, instead of customers at an expensive restaurant. The odd part aside, the sushi was excellent and beautifully prepared. Very tasty. We each had two drinks. $90 before my tip.

We are locals and had a great dinner here tonight. Paco, our skilled chef was amazing and quite talented. The steak and salmon were cooked to perfection. Nice job! Kiera was our server and had only been there a week and was quite attentive and had a super great smile. Justine was the senior server and paid close attention to detail for the table too. Sadly, we were seated with a group of five who spent their entire time on their phones and were quite rude. Their loss!

You can always see the professional work of people who cook. You need to make a reservation to get here. Food and drinks was just fantastic . In a word, everything was top notch. 👌

Isaiah was AMAZING!!!! Such good service he puts in the work everything was brought to us in a very timely manner he was taking so many tables yet still getting everything right! Super sweet and welcoming as well he made the atmosphere very enjoyable! Very hard worker! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Food good but wish it was a little more flavorful..drinks weak...didn't taste any liquor, waiter was nice and helpful. Parking was free and easy. Had a nice vibe and can see the water easily.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAKING A RESERVATION. Great food and not a bad restaurant, had a reservation at 730, arrived at 720 and got seated around 735, drinks and appetizers arrived fairly quickly, hibachi chef however did not arrive until 830, the food was amazing and the chef did an amazing service.

My first time going to Benihana and it didn’t disappoint! I had a great time with a great chef, Danilo! The food was incredible and I would definitely come back in the future for a special occasion!

Dinner at Benihana in Key West is always consistently amazing. We usually sit at the bar but sat at a table this particular night. Either way, service is always great. Our server, Roger was super attentive and friendly, making sure we were more than happy! Answered every question we had and catered to all of our requests. It’s always pretty busy in there but Dayanis, the manager, was always going around to not only our table but all of them in the restaurant, always checking in on everyone and helping out the entire staff. Awesome to see managers care still!! Our chef, Danilo made some of the best shrimp and filet I’ve probably had so far from there! He really catered to all of our needs and the food was nothing short of delicious! Overall, I’m never disappointed coming to this location. As a local, I seriously appreciate the friendliness and consistency of this restaurant!

Good old Benihana. Even though the place was booked for the night, they squeezed our party of 3 in with other diners. Our chef Danilo was a great showman and the drinks were good. I liked the lychee martini. Delicious and fun

We always choose to sit in the sushi lounge since we don't like the chef tables all that much. This most recent trip we were welcomed by a server who seemed to not really care about how our meal was. There was a female staff member smoking next to the front door and later on two male staff smoking out front. It made me feel uneasy. The food took too long for it being a dead night and it wasn't that good this time. My hibachi chicken was undercooked, the rice came out awhile after my chicken, my boyfriend's beef shasimi was not as good as usual, and the sushi was not that great for what we ended up paying. My advice would be to have an employee smoking area and train employees to care about the sushi lounge as much as the chef tables dining room.

Great food, staff and view!. I am from CT and this was my first time in the Keys. I went to Benihana with my family and we could not have been happier with our experience. The ocean view was beautiful and the food was delicious! Our hibachi chef, Wilmer, did a great job cooking and entertaining. Manager George stopped by our table and was very welcoming and attentive. Try Benitini cocktail--delicious. The fish special was the best I've ever had! Restaurant looked new. Would definitely recommend!

This was an awesome experience! The best hibachi grill I have ever been to. Our chef was a bit inappropriate at times with his humor but overall he was really talented and entertaining! The food was soooo good!!!!

Great place, well unless you've had Miyabi's Japanese Steakhouse. The food is well above average and the chef's put on a decent show, but this isn't the caliber that you get at Miyabi. Unfortunately, there's no Miyabi for nearly 1000 miles. So, Benihana's will do.

Rocky's Choice. Delicious! Served with Benihana onion soup, salad, hibachi shrimp appetizer, vegetables, mushrooms, dipping sauces, steamed rice and Japanese green tea.

I just had diner there and it was amazing ....the sushi was spectacular ...is a most if you are in Key West

Terrible dining experience. Waited 45 minutes to be seated after our reservation time. Okay food but terrible service and small portions. Will not be eating here again.

It's a Good Time. This is a fun place to go. Have to say, my kid loves the entertainment factor. For me it's the food. It's a bit out of the way from down town, but worth it.

Pick times to attend when the restaurant isn't busy. Near open time and closing time. If they are booked your chef will hurry. The food still comes out delicious, but part of coming here is for the act. Goo place to take a date.
