I was craving grits and took a chance that this special would be featured based on reviews. The shrimp and grits should be a menu staple. They were hands down the best cheese grits of my life.
Atmosphere and service also phenomenal. Other notable menu items, the bloody Mary, the benedict and the feature margarita special.

During our Keys trip for my dad's birthday in May we stopped into Sarabeths thanks to a friend's recommendation. I got the lobster omelet and my dad got the shrimp and bacon omelet, both were delicious! We also got mimosas for the table to celebrate his birthday. PB&J, Elderflower, Key Lime, and Caramel Apple. These concoctions were made and personally served by Brad, my favorite was the PB&J but they were all delicious and creative. Definitely a must stop when in the Keys, I certainly will be back!

Brad is the best server I've had in all my trips to Key West. The key lime French toast was phenomenal and because my birthday was the day before, he brought me out a piece of apricot bread pudding and sang to me. Service was fast and he went above and beyond to make me feel like I matter in this world.

Wow what a delicious experience! Definitely recommend the cheese grits and blueberry muffin. We had the shrimp and bacon omelette, ham and Gruyère omelette, egg sandwich, millionaire bacon, Berry yogurt bowl, cheesy grits, almond Capt crunch banana French toast and mimosas! Did not disappoint!

This was such a welcoming and relaxing place! We so enjoyed our time at Sarabeth's! My absolute favorite was the goat cheese appetizer. Let's just say that I cleaned the plate. I followed it with bacon wrapped shrimp with coconut rice. It was good, but the goat cheese was just phenomenal.
My sweets had a surf and turf, including both scallops and shrimp, along with the turf part (gosh-- can't remember the cut) and finished with a beautiful apricot bread pudding.

Amazing food and service!! We just had one of the best breakfasts on key west so far! I had the lobster omelet special that was unbelievablely delicious and fairly priced. My girlfriend had the shrimp and grits of the specials menu and said it was the best cheese grits she has ever had. She also had a mango mimosa that really put her morning in the right direction lol,she loved it!! Overall 10/10. Fully recommended for a wonderful breakfast or brunch. It was so wonderful that we are probably going to try dinner this trip while going back for breakfast/brunch also.

When my wife and I are on vacation, we almost never visit the same restaurant twice, as there are too many we wish to experience. However, we made an exception on this vacation as Sarabeths was too exceptional to not re-visit. I can honestly say the food alone was reason to go back, however, it was the friendly and noteworthy service of Brad and Aaron that actually brought us back to the door! Great job and this will be a yearly stop for us!

Service was excellent. Started with a refreshing “Grinch mimosa”. I gave it a shot to the Key Lime Pie French Toast and it was a pleasant surprise, delicious mix of flavors!

I don't know. The server was so awesome, I really wish the rest of the restaurant followed suit. I had surf and turf Benedict, and it was just ok. I ordered 2 meals, bc I wasn't sure what I wanted, so the second plate was key lime French toast. It sounded so good from the menu, but really was thin and flat French toast, covered in Key lime sauce that was watery and runny. We took a table outside, and it's a little too dark and overgrown, I think. Ducking the sun in Key West is critical, bc it can get crazy hot, but this seemed dankish. The inside looked way better. They were serving some pretty cool looking drinks, though. The Benedict I ordered was the special, maybe I screwed up by doing so.

One word, AMAZING!! Not only is the food amazing but the customer service is out of this world!! My husband and I loved the shrimp and grits which I think was a special. My daughters loved the pancakes and French toast. The mimosas were amazing as well. I would start name dropping but the staff are ALL awesome with energetic positive attitudes. The service was so great we came back a second time and we were yet again met with those energetic positive attitudes. Do yourself a favor and stop by this awesome establishment!

Ate the shrimp and mozzarella omelet and it was so good. Cute little location and nicely cooked omelet. It wasn't quite as scrumptious as blue heaven but still good. I wasn't brave enough to try the duck bacon but it's their specialty!

Easy find and what a nice surprise right off duval. Breakfast was our meal of choice and it was a good one. Menu doesn't seem flexible but the food really good and prices are reasonable. Enjoy

This is a really nice place for brunch; the food is great and so is the service! Be prepared to wait in line for a table. Lots of choices on the menu. The sourdough toast with the homemade marmalade is a must. The pumpkin waffle was very good so was the juice and coffee. Definitely a place to try.
Lisa MACK
Fantastic breakfast! If in the Keys this place is a must dine. Great homemade everything and friendly service. I jade the shrimp and bacon omelette and I was nervous about it being too "shrimpy" and it wasn't, just delicious. Pumpkin muffin was great as well.
Joel Garcia
Food and service was exceptional! Having subpar experiences at other recommended restaurants for brunch, this place was a breath of fresh air. Consider eating here a part of the Key West tradition

You won't be disappointed with the service or the food here. We had Sara's velvety cream of tomato soup and the had the yellowtail snapper and the sautéed big beautiful Key West Shrimp.
The soup was very creamy and not like a traditional tomato soup but so rich and creamy.
The snapper was lightly coated with a seasoned flower that was delicious. The fish was fresh and so moist. The fish was deboned and presented as the whole fish.
The shrimp dish was amazing, the shrimp were cooked perfect and the reduction sauce put the dish over the top.
Well worth a one of your meals when you visit.

Our favorite restaurant in Key West. We found Sarabeth's on a past visit and it was our favorite restaurant in Key West. After another wonderful meal there, it remains our favorite restaurant in Key West. it was a beautiful, warm evening, so were seated outside. My wife started with a Roasted Fresh Red Beets & Gorgonzola salad, which she loved. Then she tried the special, which they only serve if available, the Yellowtail Snapper, "virtually boneless, flash fried and served with a crisp arugula and fennel salad". She also loved it. I had Our own Cornmeal Crusted Sauteed Shellfish Cakes and was also very happy with my choice. We could not resist dessert and both of us had Individual Key Lime Cream Pies, more like mousse, and very tasty. Service was excellent, as always. Sarabeth's came through again.
RRR
Wow! Can't believe it's taken us this long to get here. Great breakfast; looking forward to dinner here.
Thanks to @Sarabeths for the @twitter conversation and invitation.

One of my favorite places for breakfast in Key West. Always friendly service, great food, and good coffee. Who could ask for anything more? (Oh...and try the jam!)
Megan
Breakfast was really good. I had the Goldie lox and it was the perfect amount of food with amazing orange marmalade on the toast. My friends really liked the sweet breakfast options. Atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. Definitely worth it for breakfast!

Have You Ever Had Such a Fantastic Meal You Dream About It?. Not only did I dream about it... but having dined there on several occasions, I've more than one delicious meal to dream about!

Quite simply, Sarabeth's has consistently provided the absolute best, most memorable meals I've ever enjoyed...

A special favorite is the seared scallops with a mango/cilantro/jalapeno chutney. I can't go into more description as I'll get depressed since Key West is so far away.

It is so good, I'd contemplate returning to Key West, simply to visit Sarabeth's every day. [Which we did on our original visit... after our 'discovery' there could be no more desirable place to dine... so we ate at Sarabeth's every day... sometimes twice a day.]

After eating for four days in semi-decent restaurants in Key West we found our way in the middle of a down pour to Sarabeth's. So nice to not have birds at our feet or roosters walking near our table for a change. That was just the first few glimmers of hope we had as we sat down at our outside table. (Yes, it was raining and we still sat outside under huge umbrellas.). Our waiter was so helpful in helping us pick our meals for the night. We decided to share both the specials: a snapper done whole but without bones (still don't know how they did this) and the scallops over polenta. They were both perfection! Cooked perfectly with flavors blended in harmony. The service was amazing too. Our waiter was so excited about what he was serving. So nice to see! Dessert was another treat - the bread pudding was amazing. We were full but couldn't stop eating the sweet goodness. You must not pass up Sarabeth's. It's a treasure on the island of the Keys.

Kid friendly--not. The "kid friendly" tag on this one needs to be removed...they do not have a children's menu.
Sarah
Good Food. The service is efficient with a great sense of humor. The breakfast is typical breakfast - nothing special and a bit pricey for what you get. We will go back.
TGK512
Went for dinner - over priced, food was so so. We had the calamari, Mac n cheese, & shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was small, and you only got four. My husband got the yellow tail snapper, he said that was really good. My steak was bland and slightly over cooked. Another person in our party got the crab cakes, and thought it had way too much filler $ not enough crab.

Our last stop.... Had never been to Sarabeth's and stopped on our way out of town headed back to Ft. Lauderdale Sunday morning. This is a little bit of a tucked away gem we probably never would have gone to if it hadn't been for the fact we stayed on Fleming this year instead of our normal digs. Breaksfast was great! I'm sorry we didn't have one more day to come back and enjoy dinner. You can be sure we will next trip!
Carry
Very quaint setting. Food was very good. Main breakfast dishes priced fairly. Very expensive to order sides and extras ( ex: $7 for a small cup of berries). French toast and omlets very tasty
DJ
This place is phenomenal. Don't mind the critics. Excellent food and service every time we've been here!
Top Chef Junky
Excellent... Breakfast all day on Saturday. Really enjoyed the jam with a tight but quaint atmosphere.
Kgraziano33
Good service. Pricy coffee (even for a Starbucks lover). Buttermilk pancakes with real mapel were good. Turkey and her sausage with apple butter were excellent.
DiVA Diner
Awesome service. Such a cute place! The side potatoes were amazing, but the rest of my food was not superb. Do not feel like you have to get the lemon ricotta pancakes because they seem so popular. They are thick and nt very fluffy. The French toast was good and the goat cheese and spinach omelette was amazing. That is what the rest O my family ordered. Defiantly try the specialty flower juice.
Gal Fieri
Great atmosphere be sure to sit outside. The french toast and pancakes are superb.
Glenn
Excellent refined breakfast food! Good flavor without a boatload of filler

A little disappointed.... Got to tell you - once we landed in Key West we were so excited about having breakfast at Sarabeth's. Don't get me wrong, the breakfast was good - not great - but good. Quite honestly, one of many meals during our 5 days in Key West that I didn't feel lived up to the reputation or reviews on Urbanspoon (and other sites). The selection is small. The waitstaff was ok - not very attentive. Would I return - probably not for breakfast...
Charles Call
Great pancakes - lovely outdoor seating - attentive service - reasonable pricing.
Stv Dalpias
There were five in our party. All ordered Something different. All were very pleased. The fat and fluffy French toast absolutely melted in your mouth. The lemon ricotta pancakes were perfect. The turkey club was shared and enjoyed by all. The open face tuna was lucious. The fish of the day elegant. Just having moved here we are thrilled to find fresh, well prepared food. And, last but not least David greets every guest making sure all feel right at home.

Was good but not great for the price. I had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. They were good but a little dry. Wait staff and owner were very nice!
Jackie Boisvert Murray
Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Loved the owner. Would like to see a bigger wine selection.

One of my favorite breakfast places in Key West. I love their pumpkin muffins, homemade marmalade, and ommelettes (spinach and goat cheese is my favorite.) also...who doesn't love almond crusted cinnamon French toast?! Warm, friendly service as well.
Dennis F
Sarabeth's was recommended by a friend and really lived up to our expectations. The service and setting were excellent and everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the fried calemari and then enjoyed the fried chicken (Sunday only special) and the lump crab and shrimp cakes. We drank champagne and ended with freshly brewed coffee. There are many good restaurants in Key West. Don't muss this great one.

YUMMO!. Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff...Hubby found this place for us for breakfast: I ordered the flower juice and it is really good and refreshing, I ordered the almond crusted French toast with turkey sausage and it was wonderful, not to sweet, just right, Hubby ordered 3 sunnyside up eggs with 3 pepper potatoes with Turkey saugage and not one thing was left on our plates, a great find!

Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Duval Street and feel the real "Old Key West". Hidden gem on a quite street with EXCELLENT service. Must order the Tomato Soup.
Sharon Harwood
Great brunch spot. My husbandsndi split a pinkshrimp Gouda cheese omlette that was delicious Sourdough toast was perfect andcrispy The host was extremely helpful and upbeat and waitress was friendly and efficient. Will plan to return
Jenna
Amazing food I had the Goldie Lox salmon cream cheese & eggs so so delicious also the flowers juice is great!!! I will be back everytime I visit the keys!!
Suebsc
The Lump Crabmeat and Key West Pink Shrimp Cakes should have been called Green Pepper Cakes. The shrimp was nowhere to be found and the crab was scarce. The ratio of pepper/corn made the meal bad. The slaw was a couple of slivers of jicama over greens. I spend a great deal of my time in Key West and now I know I'll never eat here again.
Lisa F
Outstanding food and service. This really lives up to the rave reviews. Food is tasty and made daily from local, fresh ingredients. The creamy tomato soup is so good you'll want to lick the bowl. the atmosphere us relaxing and welcoming. The host and servers are friendly and attentive. The key lime pie is light and creamy and actually tastes of fresh limes. Also don't miss the delicious iced tea with simple syrup. Best restaurant in Key West by a mile!!!
CatLauderdale
Just plain yummy. This has become a must-do for every trip to Key West. The staff are fantastic and the food is the best. Sarabeth's is the anti-duval.
Richie Rich
Outstanding service. Really liked Sarabeth's. The skirt steak was very interesting, but good. I'm very funny about calamari, if it's overcooked by one second, it's too much. We ate half the app., because it was overcooked. The server removed it from the bill without my asking. Bonus for him..
Nice atmosphere, romantic, fun. Will go back again and again. Reasonably priced. $15-18 per dinner entrée.
Jamie
The food was good but they crammed my leftover sandwich in a tiny box and squashed it
Whit
Delicious!. I loved the atmosphere (inside a house in the entrance with the comfortable outside breeze gently wafting in). The food was so perfect! So fresh and not greasey.

We wound up sending a bunch of her jelly and granola home to our family for presents from our trip.

Sunday Brunch Favorite. We were in Key West for Easter Sunday and decided to walk to Church and found this great restaurant on the way back. Great setting in old town key west. Breakfast was awesome. The pink key west shrimp and bacon omelet was right on! Their breads and jams were great. I had 8 grain toast. Try their 4 flower juice...yummy! Definitely recommend for breakfast.
Jess
Very quaint, very clean restaurant with eclectic menu. Wholesome, healthy, & fun choices! Awesome breakfast menu, loved the shrimp, bacon omelette & 8 grain bread. Very good service, accommodating & friendly!
Erin McGrath Shook
Another great find on Key West was Sarabeth's for breakfast! The place had a lovely patio in front on a quiet sidestreet. The Goldie Lox was incredible (eggs, smoked salmon & cream cheese). The pumpkin waffle was out of this world. Friendly service and a real special place.
George P
Best fried chicken ever !!!! Nice setting in Old Town Key West.
R. Schwartz
Highly Recommend. Great food and service. Turkey club sandwich and Goldie Lox both excellent. We'll be back!
Greg Dickinson
Quaint Old Town Setting. Big city attention to detail shines on this Key West find.
Vargas
Very few places can live up to such high expectations and Sarabeth's definitely did that. On a quiet street just off of duval street this place is a hidden gem. The goldie lox plate is a perfect blend of flavors that you don't ever want the meal to be over. The egg is enhanced with the flavors of the salmon and then capped off with the creamiest of cream cheese. The seven grain toast served with home made jam is the perfect ending to the meal. I also highly recommend the 4 flower juice that combines banana, pomegranate, orange and pineapple juices.. Delicious!! Can it be breakfast all over again?
