The food was excellent. The service, even better. Christopher was our waiter, not only was he super friendly...we was very attentive but not to the point where it was annoying. I’ll go back and request him every time. Rico makes this “hot pocket” bread stuff that is to die for! It’s a must have on every table.

Quite simply the best meal I’ve had. Scallops to start and octopus which was just amazing. Then I had ravioli filled with seafood and my date had the clam linguini. Followed by a shared tiramisu and coffees. Lovely bottle of wine in such a lovely atmosphere. Originally my date ordered the mussels but the owner came over and advised that the chef didn’t think they looked great so he wouldn’t serve them. That’s service. Paid more for a meal before but this was by far a great experience

I visited Riondo's recently and I had so much fun! It's a wonderful place with amazing food and drinks. The history of the area and building is incredible, and you really need to visit this place. They have a first floor and a second floor, and it's such a unique place to dine. Each time my family and I visit the Strand, this is one of our stops. It's worth it to just wander around the interior of the building to see the history and unique elements that make Riondo's Ristorante special and real Galveston treasure.

Ended up stopping here for dinner with a medium-sized group before seeing the Christmas Carrol. The ambiance is very nice. It feels upscale without being pretentious. I especially liked the architecture, it makes you feel like you're having dinner in a place of historic significance and not just another restaurant. We ordered wine and a few appetizers, and I got the chicken cannelloni. The wine that the server recommended was perfect with the food that we ordered and I appreciated his recommendation. The apps were delicious and so was my entrée. All the food tasted like very good, no-nonsense, high-quality Italian food and I believe the menu items were priced very fairly. It can be difficult to find good local food in Galveston, but my company along with myself cleaned our plates and even finished the remaining apps before leaving here. If you're looking for an upscale Italian spot in a beautiful historic Galveston building, definitely check out Riondo's Ristorante.

Our Excellent Professional Southern Cusine Expert made it an evening of a fine dinning experience that is hard to be matched. Request Eric tell him Kathy sent you! The seafood stuffed home made pasta ravioli, homemade balls and oh the sauces! Top it off with a good glass of wine and a homemade delicious desert. If you’re fat and calorie counting don’t go here lol! A place not to be missed. Go for an evening not a dinner.

As a chef this place dose not have a dress code nor is this upscale shorts with other people wearing suits ... It's super loud and can't even hear you self think... The food is average at best reminds me of the spaghetti warehouse... The soup was over salted the mozzarella was though and firm with too much sea salt the meat balls not much flavor and the red sauce was too sweet. Don't know how so many people can write top notch reviews I think Rudy and pacos was way better food and it's quite. The potato's were under cooked and the viel was tought

We’ve been here several times and prefer to sit at the bar or coveted window seat. The happy hour is amazing and we always over order. My fave is the spinach gnocchi! Everything is good and we rotate. We split a Caesar salad, served with ice cold forks and hot fresh bread. Then the fried zucchini, toasted ravioli, gnocchi and pizzeria. Never had anything we didn’t like. Yvonne and Barry are awesome.

Absolutely divine! The lamb lollipop with berry sauce is an absolute triumph for the taste buds. The succulent lamb is cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with just the right amount of charred goodness on the outside. But it's the berry sauce that truly elevates this dish to culinary artistry. The sweet and tangy flavors of the fresh berries complement the richness of the lamb impeccably, creating a symphony of taste sensations in every bite. The presentation is equally remarkable, showcasing a delightful play of colors that invite you to savor the dish with your eyes before indulging your palate. A true masterpiece, this dish is a must-try for anyone seeking a gastronomic adventure that will leave a lasting impression. Kudos to the chef for crafting such an outstanding culinary experience!

Had a lovely dinner with hubby, a very much needed date night. Don and Joshua made it extra special with delicious food and very attentive service. We enjoyed some amazing scallops, caprese salad, osso bucco and seafood ravioli. Ended the night with a tiramisu that was to die for! Highly recommend 👍🏻

We had a wonderful dining experience at Riondo’s and Kathleen, our waitress, was wonderful. My young son ordered a small pizza, and we ordered the spinach potato gnocchi with crab (yummy!) and my party loved their eggplant stack, hot fresh lasagne and shrimp scampi. Our lunch was awesome, and the atmosphere and service was spectacular. The only issue we ran into is my mother took a look at the Sunday brunch menu (we went on a Saturday for lunch) and she was disappointed that she couldn’t get French toast! We shall return! Great Italian on the Strand.
