This restaurant is very authentic and has great tasting Mexican food. I arrived today with my companion and ordered the pulled chicken quesadilla, my companion ordered the seafood quesadilla. When we were seated, the waitress brought chips and salsa and the salsa was perfect, not too spicy it was just right. She took our drink orders and promptly returned with our drinks and to take our order. The food came quickly, my pulled chicken quesadilla was packed with lots of shredded chicken and cheese, my companion's seafood quesadilla came with shrimp, scallops, fish, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It was extremely full and my companion was only able to finish half. The quesadillas are quite large and come with a generous serving of sour cream on the side. Our waitress was great and when we were done she actually brought us a bag to put our extra chips in and an additional container of salsa to take with us, which the chips and salsa were no charge. I've eaten at this restaurant on numerous occasions and everything there has always been fantastic and the wait staff is great.
Cute little Mexican restaurant food was really good. Waitress pressured a little to much to take order. The chips and salsa were fresh. We did have to listen to the other waiters and waitress' goofing around and saying inappropriate things (I speak fluent Spanish) so I knew exactly what was being said. Even though they thought different. But overall a good place to get a Mexican meal.
We came here with three kids for dinner on a Sunday night. Friendly service, and friendships and salsa. Decor was very traditional and staff is all accommodating. We ordered quesadillas, the pick 2 combo, and fajitas. Delicious! Plenty of parking in the little strip mall, and wheelchair friendly parking spots inside walk. Next door is a Mexican grocery store as well.
We loved the food, it was fresh and flavorful. But the actual restaurant atmosphere was a little disappointing, tables were a little dirty, some of the lights were broken and we ended up in a dark corner. Overall I’d definitely recommend to do a take out cause the food is 10/10.
Most authentic Mexican food I've had in Gainesville, I'm from southern California and this is the closest I've gotten to what I'm used to eating. The rice and beans are well seasoned, the meat is always cooked to perfection and everything on the menu is delicious. This has been my favorite spot for Mexican food!!
The food is awesome and you get large size portions. The menu is full of great selections. They have a great friendly staff that are bilingual. The restaurant looks small but can fit a lot of people. The service was quick and fast and the food was hot. I was disappointed they did not serve alcohol/beer but the food was still worth having without a beer or margarita. The location is on the north end of Gainesville but worth the drive for a great cooked Mexican dish.
Great experience. Very friendly. Real Mexican food. Good prices. Coca Cola in a bottle!
