If you haven’t been here yet- y’all are missing some of the best food in Charleston- seafood is fantastic and they have Bird Island Oysters on the menu- wild grown oysters that taste of the sea and are the best I’ve had in Charleston(see picture), I can’t resist the sand which, fried chicken on a bun with coleslaw and the cucumber salad is the perfect bite as a side. My friend got the scalloped potatoes that were rich and so cheesy! Our server was great and very attentive, it was December and we sat outside on their patio too. Don’t miss this place, bonus you can smell the bbq from Rodney Scott’s down the road.

Awesome spot in Charleston with incredible fried chicken, the oysters were equally tasty although was too hungry to take pics. Friendly chill staff and lively atmosphere. It was my second time here and I’m already looking forward to three and four! Kudos

Such an awesome spot made from an old garage. The oysters on the half shell were so fresh, cold and delicious. Great cocktails, friendly service. A must try in Charleston! Also, grab the smoked mahi dip!

Great atmosphere and service. Fried chicken has a delicious crispy crunch (one of the best I've ever had) but admittedly could have used a bit more seasoning but the hot honey and hot sauce helps. The char-grilled oysters are every bit worth the "famous" monicker. A def Charleston must!

Stopped her after a local’s recommendation. Loved the vibe, food, and service. I was able to walk in and eat at the bar. If a larger party, you would need a reservation. Delish!

Leon's is a great Charleston staple. Everything we've tried on their menu has been consistently fresh and delicious. I had the Chicken Sandwich which was perfectly fried with slaw and pickles. The Slaw was topped with raisins and pepitas which elevated it into something special. We also had fried oysters that were out of this world, just so good. Loved every bite.

Busy neighborhood spot. I tried the crispy clam wrap. It was fresh and crispy. I also had the grilled oysters this place is known for. The oysters were a bit small but tasted very good. My schrimp sandwich was also good. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and had a slight spice to it. Overall, it's a nice place just not overwhelming.

I was travelling to Charleston and accidentally stumbled on Leon’s, I walked past and saw it was bumping with locals! Knowing I had to visit before I left I got the opportunity to go alone for a late lunch. I sat at the bar, got a non alcohol beer that was delicious and tried oysters and a salad. The oysters were so fresh, salad was spicy, sweet, crunchy and delicious! The service was amazing everyone at the bar supported me, and made for a great time. Can not recommend enough!

Raw bar selections were great, I tried all available oysters. They were all fresh and delicious. Also ordered the scalloped potatoes and cucumber salad, scalloped potatoes were awesome! The cucumbers were good, but nothing special. I’ve heard they have the best fried chicken, but unfortunately this was not my experience, it was pretty bland in general and without the hot sauce and hot honey on the table, just wasn’t good, It was however hot and fresh, but was nothing to write home about. Go for the oysters and ambiance, worth the trip.

First time visit today for a late lunch. It was 2 pm on a Thursday and the place was very busy which is always a good sign. Food was excellent. My wife had the fried clams strips and I had the fried catfish sandwich. Coleslaw side was a great choice. I had the soft-serve vanilla ice cream 🍦 for dessert. Yummy 🍦. Our waiter was awesome. Definitely will be going back.
