Wanted some good sushi in the Charleston area, I’m use to eating it in Huntington. Found that this place had the best veggie options. In the past week, I’ve ordered food twice through grub hub (so good had to get it again). I had the sweet potato tempura sushi (no eel sauce) General tso tofu with noodles and salad (for just $8!!!!) And I added spicy mayo to the sushi myself, but I can’t even express how good it was. Restaurants tend to do a terrible job at making tofu, this was EASILY the best I’ve ever had. Best vegan Asian food I’ve ever had for sure. My dad, definitely a meat eater, tried the tofu and said it was better than Chinese chicken. If you are vegan / vegetarian or someone who is looking to cut back meat consumption or try something new, you HAVE to try this place, they have lots of great options. (They also do a good job at substitutions if you say you don’t want eel sauce or egg or something.)

Great service and really great menu. We liked the fusion noodle selections, and especially the Thai pineapple chicken. Well worth the visit.

Very good and reasonably priced. I got it take out and the hibachi was tasty. Filet was cooked perfectly. The flavors were a little sweet for my liking, almost teriyaki-like but not quite to that extreme. Despite that, I ate it all and am now in a food coma.

Very nice place to eat, prices aren't bad and the food was great. Habachis at Corridor G was slightly better but way more expensive. Service was very fast but there was hardly anyone here. I'm surprised they wasn't getting more business, this place really deserves it.

The food is average... Not bad.. Not great. However the pricing is very competitive with comparable offerings. It's Charleston West Virginia so don't expect exceptional quality if you're used to eating Japanese in larger cities. For example they serve Pad Thai with vermicelli noodles and not traditional wide style rice noodles. I'll come back just for the inexpensive pricing alone, but it falls short of good to excellent Asian fare.

I have to say I was impressed. Sushi was amazing. I did like the prices but there is catches. For example the hibachi doesn't come with soup & salad so add 2.50 for that. I didn't like that I had to ask for plates, soy sauce cups, & chop sticks. I felt like that should've been there before our 1st roll arrived. But that's one experience with one waiter and isn't going to prevent me from returning. Just insight hopefully for more training. Otherwise it was worth it. Our tab was $60 before tip. We had two teas, two rolls, two hibachi chicken added 2.50 soup & salad. Our child had lo mein, spring rolls & wontons for appetizers. Yes we had to go boxes!! Try those fresh spring rolls, you won't regret it! Tons of food for price. Greeted with a smile and afterwards asked to return. 😁

We were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and very nice. The service wasn't the best. There were only a few tables being waited on and getting the waitress to help us towards the end of our meal was very hard. My friend got very bitter shredded cucumber in her roll but I shared my sushi with her while waiting for the waitress to return. We were done with our appetizers, my roll, and our drinks before we could get a waitress to help us. The appetizers were very good. The roll I had was excellent. I was very pleased with my food and thankful they were willing to correct my friends food before leaving.

I wanted some good sushi in the Charleston area and I found this place had the best veggie options. I have gotten food from here twice in a week through grubhub and I can’t even describe how delicious it’s been. Definitely the best vegan Asian food I have had and really up there with Asian food I’ve ever eaten. I got the sweet potato tempura sushi twice along with the tofu general tso with noodles and salad. You get the tofu noodles and salad for $8 and I ate on it two times different times, it’s a lot of food. My dad, who is definitely a meat eater said the tofu tasted better than Chinese chicken does, and my mom got the pineapple fried rice with tofu for me to have but ended up liking it too! If you’re someone who is vegan / vegetarian YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE, lots of good options, and if you’re looking to cut back meat consumption or try something new, I highly recommend !
