So, my husband and I just left Charleston yesterday. I can put it to you this was, we live in Boston, we have great restaurants. We have tracked all through Europe and have dined at some very high end, well known eateries. The meal my husband and I shared at this establishment was by far the best meal we have ever had. The appetizer the meal and the dessert were absolutely to die for. We will be back, FOR SURE.
Thank y’all for making our Wedding Anniversary night so special, the food and desserts were delicious! For appetizers we had the crab cakes. I had the Flounder Imperial and hubby had the Grilled Swordfish absolutely perfect!
Of course to top this amazing dinner were the desserts!
Not to mention our server, Kristen was very sweet and friendly!
Cuddos to our bartender, tasty cocktails!
Wish I could give it 6 stars. I came during restaurant week and had to go back again to try the rest of the menu (minus the pecan pie I couldn’t try because I’m allergic) + wine pairings.
Everything and I mean everything was delicious and perfectly portioned, so you leave full (even though I wouldn’t have declined another bowl of the She crab soup haha). The wine pairings enhanced the whole eating experience of each dish.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn’t hover too much, they let me enjoy my meal. I’ll be back to try their regular menu items.
One of the best meals I've had in Charleston. Go for the dessert. It's worth it. The pecan pie and chai latte creme brulee are delicious
The service and atmosphere was great, but were not wowed by the food especially given the fact that this place is not cheap at all. We had the scallops, Filet Mignon, “Cassoulet”, and Key lime pie. The scallops and key lime pie was really good - highly recommend. There is an art gallery next to this place which is cool to check out as well.
We went here for our 10th anniversary and we couldn't be happier. They gave us a happy anniversary card and comp bubbly, which was a nice touch. The food was great, maybe some of the best food we've had. The atmosphere was awesome. Our server, Sara was great as well. I definitely recommend this place!
Trying to find the perfect spot for my boyfriends birthday dinner and I couldn’t be happier that this is where we ended up! The food was absolutely incredible I got the venison tenderloin and am still thinking about it! They have a few cocktails on their menu but when I asked if they could make something different there was no problem at all and the bartender made me an absolutely delicious espresso martini. To end the meal they gave us each a glass of champagne on the house and a cute card signed by the staff for my boyfriends birthday. My only slight dislike was despite it being a Monday evening where there were many open tables they had us seated in the corner where they had the table next to us and behind us also occupied. Given so many tables I felt we could have had a little more privacy where we weren’t overhearing other tables conversations. But all in all a great experience! Will definitely return
Simply excellent food, appetizers were great, entree great, dessert - pecan pie was tad too sweet for my liking overall worth dining there👍
Service is really incredible here, everyone was so attentive.
Couple notes on the food. Some are overloaded with sprouts that take over the dish. The bread is great but the char is a little too much. The butter with it is incredible though. Food is great quality and overall very delicious.
Nice atmosphere, good food. Fresh fish, tasty appetizers, nice drinks. Went for a birthday celebration and was made to feel very welcome. The server brought over a round of Champagne on the house and the service was fast and friendly. The shrimp was super fresh and flavorful. Crab cakes full of crab and very little fillers. Drinks were tasty. The desert selection was very tasty and the whole atmosphere was very enjoyable. Not cheap, but very good food.
Don’t hesitate to book a dinner here!
My boyfriend and I forgot to book reservations early on, but ended up getting an 8:15 PM reservation on a Saturday. While this may seem late, it actually worked out really great because we had a late lunch (2pm) at Magnolias just down the street!
We enjoyed a drink at the Rooftop Bar a few floors up and watched the sunset before our dinner. We were seated right away when we arrived early.
Our Waitress was Summer and she was amazing. She made a great drink recommendation for my boyfriend, was prompt, and checked in on us just enough.
We both got the Filet, and shared the Okra Cassoulet. The portions were perfect, our steaks came perfectly cooked.
The only thing we hoped for was that the potato pave was a little warmer, we like our potato’s to come out hot with steam. But that is totally preference!
The atmosphere was beautiful and quaint. We loved the artwork, lighting, and brick.
A Charleston MUST!
My partner and I recently celebrated the holidays with a trip to the south, which was loosely themed around food. Revival was our final dinner spot, and we were ecstatic to end our travels on a high note.
Revival checks every box that could matter in a restaurant. Their ambiance has a creative flair. The staff is extremely amicable, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. And the food is just divine, with elegant presentation to match the taste.
Their chef’s passion for their work shows from behind the scenes, and it’s worth it to ask about the inspiration behind the dishes. Additionally, Revival’s team is top tier and go out of the way to make you feel cared for.
I think Revival is at it’s best for the small shareable dishes, and would highly recommend ordering for variety. The She Crab soup is heavenly, as well as the tuna and creamed corn. And the portion sizes are more than you’d expect for the price point. All in all, a 10/10 experience.
