We were there about two weeks ago. The service and atmosphere were great. The server even suggested a dish that ended up being one of the best meals I've had. I fully recommend and we will definitely be back.
I take a professional trip to Virginia Beach every year and this is where my organization goes to celebrate on Friday nights. We absolutely love this place and I absolutely love this place! The service is amazing, the food is awesome and the atmosphere is very inviting. I can't get enough of this place. The food is authentic and very good and they are willing to work with you to make sure that you are satisfied with the amount of spice and heat in each one of your dishes. I would recommend this place to anybody. If you are looking for authentic Indian food in Virginia Beach, look no further than Saffron!
My first time here and I ordered lamb biryani, Gobi Manchurian, and palak paneer. Everything had great flavor and generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised at how much lamb was in the biryani and the size of the paneer in the palak. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes.

Food is good. Serving size is good. Ambiance is good. Servers were awkwardly good. They tried to be friendly, but I feel the hesitation. Authentic Indian, and we really enjoyed our meal. The smell of the spices welcomes you as you walk in. It’s not that subtle but not that strong also. A notch down would have been perfect, but it’s okay. The restroom is okay, but it needs air freshener. Overall, a bit pricey, but it’s authentic and a goat (good) experience. Yup. I tried goat, and it’s good. 👌🏼😅👍🏼
I went to lunch time with my friend. The food was really good! We ate very spicy level 4, but it was too spicy😂 I’ll eat mild next time.
I got a pick up order. The inside smells so good. The chef has skills. It was romantic in there. The person who took my order made sure I got utensils and plates which was so helpful thank you!

The best food ever!!! The owner waited on us, he was so friendly and recommended wonderful dishes for us. You can taste the quality. Everything is made from scratch and it is obvious. The quality and the flavors are so unique and will have you craving to come back. Do yourself a favor, please, go support this wonderful restaurant!
Loved it but the 4 is not a 4 at least I don't think so was not spicy as I would've liked so I'll have to ask for a 5 but all in all really good everything was great
The food is always incredible with awesome portion sizes. the chili garlic naan is AMAZING. but also the service is so nice. every staff member is extremely kind and quick. before leaving, our waitress gave us a box for rice, a separate one for curry, and some foil to keep the naan fresh. i’ve never had service like that! i cannot recommend this place enough :)
A nice modern Indian restaurant that has a great ambiance. This place really hits the spot if you need authentic Indian food. Everything was amazing! Their tikka masala was surprisingly good and mango kulfi tasted delicious. Their biryani was also great, but beware, their mild spice has a kick to it. However, their menu was a bit pricey and their service was disappointing. Our server rarely responded to us saying "thank you," you had to ask to get a refill and get other things, and was very dull in general. This won't stop me from coming back, but it was slightly annoying to see this type of service.
I am not Indian but the food here is the really good. It is always fresh and the waitress and servers all try to get it right the first time. I don't like my food to be to spicy and they seem to be able to get it right. I always try to try something new and they are great at suggesting things. We love going here for special occasions.
