Great food, service, and atmosphere. Totally worth the drive and the wait! Fantastic and fun drinks outside while you wait, and once you get inside. All food delicious, especially biscuits and honey butter! Exceptional eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast!

Adorable cottage restaurant with a large following. I popped in midweek midday not having any idea that they usually have long waits. Valet parking when you pull up and then add your name to the list.
Food is amazing. There was no way I could finish it all didn't stop me from trying
I asked for recommendations off of the menu and they did not steer me wrong
Ordered:
📍 Steak and Egg Griddle
Comes with the buttermilk biscuit and I had a strawberry sauce that was amazing
Since I was out running around I couldn't have a cocktail but watching them make them I definitely want to give some of them a try next visit

Absolutely love this gem of a restaurant!! Be prepared to wait but it has always been worth it!
My friend and I go monthly for our latte fix. They have the BEST lattes!! Just go already!!
Biscuits and gravy or the crab bene is my go to but everything I have tried is so good!

The atmosphere was soo inviting! I was visiting the Beach and it was off the beaten track but worth it! The mimosa flight were a great shareable. I had the lieutenant Dan!” The seafood omelette. The grits were creamy and cheesy. I loved the sunflower motif too

The bee and the biscuit
valet your car for you so you don’t have to worry about parking.
TIP…Make sure you visit the restaurant early
If not, you may have a long wait time. No reservations are available.
However, they are very clever.
The waiting area is like a garden area with lots of seating available and a full bar to buy items while you wait. Also, take that time to look over the menu. I purchased the Sandbridge Swell drink for $10.50 with Pinnacle, triple sec, blue curacao, coconut rum, peach schnapps, pineapple, and orange juice, which was quite tasty.
Ended up waiting 1hr and 30 minutes. Sat outside which was first available. However, I recommend sitting inside rather than in the heat again for 1 and ½ hours. There were giant fans to keep customers cool.
We ordered the big farm truck (Two eggs scrambled hard, two buttermilk pancakes, sausage with country potatoes and cheese grits for $17) and the DIRTY HIPPY BURRITO (Sausage, eggs, cheese, black beans, tomatoes, corn, red onions, in a gluten-free wrap with a side of creamy cilantro lime dressing with country potatoes $16) it also comes with avocado. Im not an avocado lover.
The food was scrumptious and worth the wait.
The waitress was nice but still had to get our ketchup.. but we still tipped her well. I’m sure it had been a long day.
Upon leaving, the valet had my black beauty #mbusa parked in the front ready and waiting. #iykyk
All in all a very nice place, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Worth the 45-minute drive! We will return!

Came here upon the recommendation of a friend.
The first thing that jumped out was the beautiful location.
They don't take reservations, but they have a great bar and seating areas, which makes the wait (for us, it was an hour) a lot less painful.
The bartender was amazing, based on his recommendations we tried a few non-alcoholic fruit cocktails and the spicy, crabby, bloody mary, which didn't disappoint! His customer service was the highlight of our visit!
We tried the pungo shrimp and grits, the Black and Bleu wrap, and the kid's pancake and bacon.
The food was great.
The only disappointment was our server. She didn't check on us at all, except when it was time for the bill (which included the tip).
It wasn't crowded, so not sure where the disconnect was.
In the end, it's worth the drive and the wait, especially if you're from out of town or planning a stay-cation.

Can I give it more than 5 stars?!? What a gem! We're vacationing in VA and found this place online and it was Delicious! The atmosphere is cute and welcoming.. while we waited we got a drink from the bar and played Jenga with the kids. The staff was super friendly and accommodating! They even brought my girls little cups of whipped cream and sprinkles while my hubby and I tried the latte flights. We left so happy that we forgot our bag under the table, guess what they will hold it for us until we can come back. (Which will be tomorrow for more yumminess) stop reading this review and go try it for yourself

The restaurant is reminiscent of a quaint cottage located in a small country town serves dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Don’t let the cute exterior fool, there are some pretty epic dishes being served out of the kitchen.
Breakfast and lunch options are served all day. And being more of a lunch person I ordered the Cromwell mushroom melt that was packed with spinach and served on naan bread.
I couldn’t pass up the latte flight. My favorite of the four that I tried was the caramel latte. You can only imagine, how wired I was for the rest of the day

The drinks were amazing!! Chase the bartender was such a cool guy he suggested some really good drinks for us. The food was good we had shrimp and grits with crabmeat added. Location: Cute location was told there would be a 50 min wait but it was only about 25..we had to wait outside but the area was covered. Lord of seating. Downside…it was 93 degrees outside and that’s where they seated us(outside) they had ceiling fans that provided a little air flow. You must valet your car so bring some cash for tip. One of their bathroom stalls were down so I was a wait to use the bathroom. We were told that on the weekends it could be 3 hour or more wait time. Would recommend!!

First time dining here and I can say, we'll be back here again. My family took me here for Father's day so it's expected to be very busy. Arrived about 10 minutes after they opened and still waited for an hour for a party of 5. Worth the wait though. Love the atmosphere even at the waiting area. Bar outside so you can enjoy drinks while you wait. Food is excellent. I tried what everyone is talking about, Bay Crab Benedict and it was delicious. We all tried different items and everyone enjoyed what we ordered. Our waitress did a fantastic job! Thank you!
