My first time here and I ordered lamb biryani, Gobi Manchurian, and palak paneer. Everything had great flavor and generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised at how much lamb was in the biryani and the size of the paneer in the palak. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes.

Food is good. Serving size is good. Ambiance is good. Servers were awkwardly good. They tried to be friendly, but I feel the hesitation. Authentic Indian, and we really enjoyed our meal. The smell of the spices welcomes you as you walk in. It’s not that subtle but not that strong also. A notch down would have been perfect, but it’s okay. The restroom is okay, but it needs air freshener. Overall, a bit pricey, but it’s authentic and a goat (good) experience. Yup. I tried goat, and it’s good. 👌🏼😅👍🏼

I got a pick up order. The inside smells so good. The chef has skills. It was romantic in there. The person who took my order made sure I got utensils and plates which was so helpful thank you!

The best food ever!!! The owner waited on us, he was so friendly and recommended wonderful dishes for us. You can taste the quality. Everything is made from scratch and it is obvious. The quality and the flavors are so unique and will have you craving to come back. Do yourself a favor, please, go support this wonderful restaurant!

Loved it but the 4 is not a 4 at least I don't think so was not spicy as I would've liked so I'll have to ask for a 5 but all in all really good everything was great

The food is always incredible with awesome portion sizes. the chili garlic naan is AMAZING. but also the service is so nice. every staff member is extremely kind and quick. before leaving, our waitress gave us a box for rice, a separate one for curry, and some foil to keep the naan fresh. i’ve never had service like that! i cannot recommend this place enough :)

A nice modern Indian restaurant that has a great ambiance. This place really hits the spot if you need authentic Indian food. Everything was amazing! Their tikka masala was surprisingly good and mango kulfi tasted delicious. Their biryani was also great, but beware, their mild spice has a kick to it. However, their menu was a bit pricey and their service was disappointing. Our server rarely responded to us saying "thank you," you had to ask to get a refill and get other things, and was very dull in general. This won't stop me from coming back, but it was slightly annoying to see this type of service.

I am not Indian but the food here is the really good. It is always fresh and the waitress and servers all try to get it right the first time. I don't like my food to be to spicy and they seem to be able to get it right. I always try to try something new and they are great at suggesting things. We love going here for special occasions.

Been going to Nawab Indian cuisine where the food is pretty good but the staff can be hit or miss. Just recently started going to Saffron in town center and the food is amazing! Great menu and staff are friendly. The price range is very competitive especially being in town center.

I’ve been living in Richmond from last 3 year and first time i visit this Saffron indian restaurant. One of the best food and best option either its vegetarian or non vegetarian. All of the employee are very nice but one of their employee, Her name is Anushka. Very nice and sweet little girl serving with smily face. I’ve ordered dal tadka, it was very good taste-vice, but its was not spicy for me, so i requested her to make little extra spice. And she went and get as per my request. Naan is very soft and delicious. Overall food is amazing. I can say 100 out of 10.😊😊😊😊

We were there about two weeks ago. The service and atmosphere were great. The server even suggested a dish that ended up being one of the best meals I've had. I fully recommend and we will definitely be back.

I take a professional trip to Virginia Beach every year and this is where my organization goes to celebrate on Friday nights. We absolutely love this place and I absolutely love this place! The service is amazing, the food is awesome and the atmosphere is very inviting. I can't get enough of this place. The food is authentic and very good and they are willing to work with you to make sure that you are satisfied with the amount of spice and heat in each one of your dishes. I would recommend this place to anybody. If you are looking for authentic Indian food in Virginia Beach, look no further than Saffron!

One of the best Indian buffets I have ever had. The food on the buffet had great flavor and consistency. Nothing was bland. The Nan was served to you fresh, rather than sitting in a pan on the buffet.

That was the best meal I have had at any restaurant in a long time. The food was outstanding as was the service. The atmosphere was very authentic and enjoyable. To any one that may be planning on dining at Saffron, you have to order the Naan for an appetizer, it is absolutely delicious. They have a great menu as well as drink selections. For the beer drinkers, I recommend the Tajmahal pale ale.
Saffron in Town Center, Virginia Beach diffently gets two thumbs up from me!

The place was empty, and it some how took the “ server “ 10 to seat us finally got sat and it took another 10 plus min to have the server even greet us. Time for the good to come was good and taste was good..
but dam I even had to wave him down to get the check.. much less have our glass of water refilled !!

The food was good and the waiter was ok... the price for the small amount of food I received was disappointing, and the $12 drink that tasted like it had no alcohol in it at all was also disappointing... will go back but during lunch time and to the Norfolk location...

Saffron Indian Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach. From friendly service to fantastic food, it has it all. There are authentic Indian dishes for the adults to enjoy, made to order with just the right amount of spice for you. If you have kids who are not the most adventurous eaters, Saffron has a perfect kids' menu for them with familiar delicious choices. We have been coming to Saffron Indian Bistro for many years, and my whole family loves it.
