I would recommend the lamb wrap, it’s flavorful and refreshing.
The big plate chicken with noodles is slightly below my expectation. I’ve been to the north-west of China, I know how it tastes. This dish here is a bit light to me, I expect the sauce/broth to taste much stronger and more flavorful. Overall it’s still delicious, not to be picky.
I would say this is mostly like Uyghur food, the Big Plate Chicken was tender and joyful with hand pulled noodle, for further advice I would expect next level transitional spice used.
Great little hidden gem. Nice to try something from a lesser-represented part of the culinary world. The laghman is really good and, as other reviewers mentioned, portion sizes are very good.
Nice cozy atmosphere, well Persian decorated restaurant. Foods was great, well marinated. I had the lamb chop and I was really happy with it. Noodles and Salads were great too. My friends ordered for me. Some of the dishes I do not know. You can see the pix I posted here. They have beers too. Group meals should be great.
Large parking in the back. Quick and attentive servers. Prices was good. I will definitely come back at no time.
OMG , I just had an amazing lunch in here , we had Uyghur Langman. Samsa,And Polo ,Sheep feet , which is new on the menu. Love the foods in here , Prices are very reasonable and dishes are testy . Service is also great . Will definitely visit more often
Order off a qr code at the table, menu is online, requires everyone who wants to view the menu to sign in unfortunately which was annoying. Parking is located in the back of the restaurant, one handicap spot in the front. Lot is shared with the catering service and the fireplace store next door. We ordered the salsa, lamb kabob, lamb wrap and chicken wrap. The wraps come 2 wraps per order on top of 2 naans per wrap. There was a nice pickled vegetable combo under the meat, the vegetables included jalapenos . The lamb kabob was spicy. Overall food was great, just spicer than expected.
Great food, we had the big plate chicken and it was so huge it can feed a whole family. And the beef noodles soup was amazing too. Lamb kebabs are a must!
-1 star just for service, they brought everything very very slow and one by one so we couldn’t eat together
Unique flavors that are familiar yet different. We ordered the polo, lamb shank, lamb kebabs, larghman, and a butter tea. Polo is related to pilaf. Flavorful meats on a tomato based rice. The lamb shank is beautiful cooked and served on a naan. The lamb kebabs is tasty, spicy and tender. Larghman is wheat noodles with a lamb meat sauce, the silk road style jajangmyun. I can imagine the butter tea would be using camel or goat cream, but I guess they are not as easily found in the Bay area. Good specialty food that makes me want to go to Xinjiang one day.
Tried this completely new cuisine with my partner. We had following items:
The big chicken plate- regular size: It was spicy(not hot), aromatic and very very delicious. Chicken pieces were very soft and juicy! Noodles went so well with the spice. The quantity was good, enough to feed two people with a moderate appetite.
Chicken Wrap: It had a smokey chicken flavour, some kind of yogurt sauce on top and tasted really refreshing. The salt was a little less as for my taste.
Kat-Kat: Amazing! Mild honey taste along with the yogurt topping went so well with the cake/pancake. The texture was like a dense pancake.
Bakali: This sweet dish also had a dense-cake texture and a strong honey taste. It was not bad but too dense. I enjoyed KatKat more.
I will definitely return to try other menu items. Really want people to know more about this restaurant!

Dogap Drink with Sour Cream (4/10) - Flavorless
