Smoking Pig Bbq Company

We originally planned to order from the San Jose location at Coleman/Newhall but found it closed (due to a water pipe issue) so we ordered through the Smoking Pig website for delivery from the 4th street location. We orderd quite a bit and the Doordash driver delivered 1 small bag and when I asked where the rest was he said he didn't understand and left. Doordash was NOT helpful at all so we got in the car to go get our food. I told the manager what happened and said the driver didn't grab all the bags...but they were crazy busy with orders due to the Coleman store being unexpectedly closed, so the staff missed this too and set the bag aside. I just wanted to give a shout out to the manager who made things right...having all our food remade, gave us extra desserts and two fountain drinks while we waited. This was true customer service and I really appreciate what he and the staff did to make things right. Thank you Smoking Pig on 4th street!

Great spot for BBQ! One of the best BBQ’s in San Jose. The beef brisket was moist & tender and they give you a choice of lean or fatty (or both), which was nice. The Cajun fries are crunchy, but not oily and go really well with the brisket sandwich. They also stock a good selection of beers & ciders including Ace Pineapple 🍍

We’ve ordered here at least 5 times. I liked the food and especially because the meat is gluten-free! The burnt ends are a favorite. The meat is good, but it really needs some kind of sauce with it, they offer many kinds. This place was kind of run down feeling and I think it could use a few updates at this point. Nice new parking lot made it easy to stop by

Great BBQ platters and combo. We enjoyed the brisket and chicken. Disappointed with the overall experience and lack of beverage options.. many cocktails were unavailable because they did not have the ingredients or the bar tools. Felt like this original location has been neglected in favour of the newer one.

I want my last meal from here. Oh my god the pulled pork was BUSSIN. I’ve been looking for good pulled pork in this area (honestly, a Kinders lookalike) and this place is IT. The meat isn’t that seasoned to be honest, so the variety of sauces available in person totally make it. I would recommend eating in person for that reason. The seasoned fries were a great choice, I haven’t tried the other sides yet but the seasoned fries were *chef’s kiss*. Ambiance is a quintessential diner, very clean. I’m coming back tomorrow, apparently I need to try the peanut butter pie… Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Amazing experience! The place is very nice and clean, staff is responsive and very polite. The vibes of this place is very active! Most important part I had the best burger ever here! It was so juicy and delicious, it feels like is homemade! I had the smoky pork burger! Highly recommend!! Pulled pork burger it is also delicious!
