A great place for some good Mexican cuisine in San Jose. They have a wide variety of options from salad bowls to tamales, tacos, enchiladas and taquitos. They also have nice good swirls and cocktails. Quite busy on weekend evenings, however, ample seating options.
Came for drinks and conversation with friends. Good selection of margarita swirls to choose from. We found a quiet corner to talk and enjoy our drinks.
Getting our swirls on is always a good time ....good thing to know... I used my aquis $$$ and if you have a difference they give it to you in cash so I used that and some extra cash for the tip....I recommend the paradise swirl and the salmon salad good til the last bite 😁
Good food at reasonable prices! It’s pretty casual, which is nice if you’re looking for something easy: plus there’s unlimited free chips! I had a good experience here and would return if in the area.
A good place for Mexican food in San Jose! USP of this place is the range of sauces they have - especially liked their green sauce and garlic yogurt! Crispy cauliflower nachos and avocado rice bowl are very good options for vegetarians. Parking can be done in the public parking behind the downtown.
Matthew is the man, we had a great time sitting at the bar and he was our bartender. We asked for a recommendations so he offered a small taster. We went with the Dulce Vida Paloma and Aloha Mai Tai which were perfectly sweet and tangy. We had a great time and would definitely be back for more swirls!
Came for lunch on a Sat. Plenty of room to eat outside. Staff were quick and amicable. The food had great sauce and wasn't too dry. The drinks were good as well but felt it lacked a bit of flavor. Ambiance was busy and a bit loud but would come back.
our first visit. food was excellent and easily made vegan. after you order at the counter it’s all self serve. delicious salsas at the salsa bar and very good corn chips. serving sizes were adequate to large. we were very surprised at how much we enjoyed lunch in willow glen. will be back to try out other dishes!
update: i’ve not been here since before covid, and stopped for lunch while walking by this past week. it’s still exceptional! with a vibrant menu of vegetarian dishes, as delicious as i recall. hyper-clean inside and not too crowded to sit indoors. very friendly staff at the counter and at the tables- it’s time to come here more often. this visit was a delight! and the falafel tacos were delicious. perfect. 4 stars to 5!
This places is always so busy, went on a Friday at 6pm! The line moves fast though, waited for ten minutes, not too bad! The swirls can be ordered at the bar or front counter with food. Two swirl max- probably all you need! Sunset swirl is my go to! Pets are welcome on the back patio area, and in the extended parking lot patio area. Always so fun here!!
