Great Food. Great Service. Great Atmosphere. Great Food. Great Employees. Great Food.
This place is true to its name, and did I mention they have really great food? 😂 but seriously tho come eat at #1 Chinese Kitchen. You won’t be disappointed
Some of the best Asian food on the south side. Family and friends from Alaska and Oregon
always want me to order their salt and pepper chicken wings
the BEST in town. Just ask chicken wing Steve
Ordered takeout from Doordash. Got Thai eggrolls and spicy sweet garlic chicken. Both good! If you want rice, you do have to order separately. I wish there was half rice amount size for $2.
I would definitely eat from here again, and try the variety of Chinese and Thai dishes they offer.
There's good reviews for this restaurant, and it's been there for years.
We went pretty late, around 830pm. There was some food in the ready section. The employees were friendly and they recommended that we order from the menu because there were more options. We picked black bean with chicken and szechuan beef for take out.
The prices were typical and reasonable. We got home and the szechuan beef was nicely laid out in the container! Both dishes tasted very good, cooked properly. I would go again!
The rice might not look good in my picture but let me say it was delicious. I have 2 room mates and they loved it. The sweet and sour chicken is my favorite Chinese dish and i loved it. Both dishes were stuff so for the price you get a lot of food. I will be going back for more
The food was great. I ordered the combination plate of Chow Mein. It was really good. I thought I wouldn't like it but the food was delicious. Also they added big pieces of chicken, meet, and shrimps. Even the shrimps were really big compared to other places. The only downside is that I feel the food was a bit oily but it may be the sauce they used, I am not too sure. The food is above average.
I have been coming here for years. The food is east coast quality with lots of care in preparation. Their signature dish is the fried rice, wow..best I have tasted anywhere. A prior review indicated it was a bit dry. I believe it is a taste preference. Most fried rice in other restaurants are fairly greasy and moist, but very little soy sauce. It's a matter of preference. The one think is everything is served buffet style, so be there when they open or around dinner. You can always do what I do and order off the menu. They are always willing to prepare food to your specifications. The restaurant is clean and all of the people who work there, including the Master Chef, are extremely polite and customer focused. The decor is very interesting..cool clocks, old pay phone, great paintings and other items (must see). I highly recommend this restaurant..a real jewel.
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you walk in and smell the food, you know it's gonna be tasty. I had a three item plate and got an egg roll. The fried rice was a tiny bit dry, but the rest of the food was very delicious. My egg roll was also tasty and I'm glad I got that. Staff if friendly and they have an antique Jennings slot machine in the restaurant. Check it our and enjoy.
Great service! Friendly staff and the foods are delicious. I highly recommend the Chicken Chow Mein. I love Chinese foods so I've tasted many Chow Mein from different restaurants, in the Bay Area where I grew up. Their chicken chow mein is the Best!
The name makes this place seem like it won't be anything special. However, one visit should be all that is necessary to change your mind. The food is delicious, they give generous portions, and it's relatively inexpensive. My wife, who is very picky about her Asian cuisine, absolutely adores this place. It quickly became our favorite Chinese food in the area.
Great little restaurant! You can order off their menu, which I usually do since I'm not a fan of the buffet-style, and they'll cook a fresh dish for you. But if you're in the mood for a quick bite you can order combos with the premade sides they have available. They have dishes like pad Thai and pad see ew so they don't only serve Chinese food. Everything I've tried is yummy, and they can adjust the spice level to your taste. I've had dishes for myself as well as ordered their catering platters which are reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is super friendly and their thoughtfulness really stuck with me when I ordered the HK style noodle to go, and they separately packaged the deep-fried mein and the gravy so it didn't get too mushy.
Not only is the staff friendly and helpful, they make every effort to ensure you have a great dining experience. It starts out with excellent cooking and portions that are more than adequate. In fact, I usually split my 2 item combo and have the second half the next day. It is a family run business and you will see the same friendly familiar faces when you return and you can even friend them on Facebook to get the updates and specials.
