Stopped by here on a whim and I'm glad we did. I enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura lunch special that came with salad and a bowl of rice. It was a much larger serving than I expected and was delicious. We just beat lunch crowd as it got very busy solely after we arrived. Service was prompt and courteous.
Friendly staff and delicious food. If I am in the area I will definitely be back to try more rolls!
Food was very good. Oil for tempura could have been fresher but still not bad. For those who bad mouth the service being overwhelmed yes, it is a family establishment. Finding workers you know and trust is difficult so next time bring your own ranch to sushi...you’re gross. If you want to support a family run establishment, look here
Family run business. Very fresh and tasty sushi. Try the gyoza, it's totally awesome and then some. I also like their twist on the traditional spider roll. Cozy atmosphere and modern decor. Private dining in a separate area or open restaurant dining with a few seats at the sushi bar.
Lunch bento was pretty good with a nice amount of food. Tonkatsu though was a little overcooked but tempura and sushi was delicious. Servers can be more service oriented. Would come back for a quick lunch if I was in the area.
Food was absolutely delicious, well portioned, and made with attention to presentation. I will certainly be heading here for a quick roll now and then. Empire roll is awesome!
Pretty good. The sushi is probably a 7 or 8 but they have one of the best bento boxes around. This is my favorite place to eat when I stay at the doubletree across the street.
Good work lunch place. Fast service and decent Japanese fare. Best bet is to get there a bit before the lunch hour for immediate seating, but they are very efficient.
Probably some of the best-quality sashimi in the bay area. Often, when trying out a decent sushi place, my "go-to" starting point is their chirashi... and this is probably the best and most-consistent I've had, anywhere - it has become my "go-to" dish, with good quantities of fresh fish and rice. I'll often "support" the dish with either their "crazy roll" or their "oishi roll" -- which is best for helping with the tobiko that's included in the chirashi. (though, that's A LOT of food with the salad and miso, too!)
I love the udon here. And the sushi choices make deciding what to order hard. But whatever you order you will be pleased when it is delivered.
