The Blue Chip has the best owners, the best staff and the best comfort food on the block. Rudy is Old Town San Jose now and his staff and family will treat you right. The Blue Chip is a great spot for lunch or drinks whenever you need a good spot to relax and get away from the San Jose day. Walk down the stairs and feel welcome in a family run joint that will keep you fed, having fun and feeling like family. Rudy, you keep outdoing yourself. Happy Birthday old man!
This is the place to watch football/ sports. Good food, Big TV's for the games on Sunday.
Cowboys, Steelers, 49ers, Raiders rooms to watch the games. All other games are on.

This is a hidden gem! Had a surprise birthday party here. Rudy was extremely helpful in making it happen from setup to making a special birthday drink!! Great staff, great food, nice environment, affordable event/party space. Newly redone.. A must try!!
This "hidden bar" is a great find! Fun place to have a drink, and great place to watch games with all the screens. On another occasion I had a section for a private party. We were able to rope off a private area and had great service. The food was awesome and the Philly cheese steaks were especially good. They did an awesome job with some special-order platters, too. The bathrooms are clean and updated and there is convenient parking across the street. Check them out!
Very nice place and as a Cowboys fan.. it's definitely the place to be. Loved the environment and the lounge. It was like being at home. Food too longer then expected but YOU CANT RUSH GOOD QUALITY. It was definitely worth the wait.
Stopped here while attending a downtown conference. Staff was great. Food was very tasty and hot! A little surprised that I had to retrieve it from the pickup area, but it didn’t diminish the experience. Three beers and a sandwich/ fries for $21 is a treat!!!
Kitchen runs super late and I'm pretty impressed with this salad. Definitely keeping it on my "worth coming back to" list.

The place couldve been a tad cleaner but i think i came in right after a rush so ill give that a pass today. I will def be back
Came here while in town for a convention. Food was amazing, most of our table had the cheese steak. Another had the super nachos. Portions for cheese steak were great and it tasted fresh. Super nachos was a large portion of food, well worth the price tag. The atmosphere is pretty laid back, there are the basic tables with stools to sit at as well as some couches and sofas to relax in and hang out with friends.
Overall it's a nice little tucked away spot with delicious food.
Awesome place to watch sports! My brother and I were in town so we stopped by to watch the A's game. We found the place on yelp and it was money well spent. Huge delicious cheese steak and fries and TVs with games all around us. Wish we had a place just like it in Tampa, FL.
We went in after a concert to karokee. DJ was really nice and system was good. Great place to be with friends.
