We stopped by around 2pm after a field trip with my family. They had a line still and it was a good 35-40 min to get a table, party of 3 on a Saturday. But, totally worth it. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and above all, food was amazing. We had shrimp & crawfish and fried shrimp & catfish and pfffff!! Tasty, fresh & well prepared. The Michelada was also a nice surprise, give it a try!
The staff/servers were kind and very attentive. They made our first time experience truly enjoyable (it was secretly my birthday even, so that was very nice). The food was also delicious and affordable, so kudos to the cooks! Equally amazing work behind the scenes. 👏 Would definitely recommend this location and come again!
Two trips in about two weeks time should say it all!!
Parking is usually not a problem as there are ample spots available. Once you get in, be ready to be in line for about 45 minutes to an hour (usually its faster than that) though the wait is every bit worth it for what's to follow.
The atmosphere at Boiling Crab is casual and lively. The rustic decor, picnic-style seating, and upbeat music create an environment that's perfect for a laid-back, seafood feast. It's a bit on the noisy side, but that's all part of the charm and the vibe that you feel once you are in there.
The service at Boiling Crab is outstanding. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly efficient. They guide you through the menu, explain the ordering process (which can be interactive and fun), and are quick to assist with any special requests. They make sure your dining experience is as enjoyable as possible.
In our first visit Vincent was kind enough to even walk us through the process of dismantling the crab shell to get that quality meat out of the same. He did answer all our questions with regards the options available and did suggest along the way as well on what was popular vs what he liked personally as well.
During our second visit Jordan was amazing and he patiently took our orders , helped us with our questions and made sure that we got nothing but the best when it came to that fresh, succulent seafood that the place has to offer.
The seafood is incredibly fresh, and you can customize your order with a variety of flavors and spice levels. Whether you're into shrimp, crab, lobster, or a mix, each bite is a burst of deliciousness. The "Shabang" seasoning with is our favorite, but there are plenty of choices to suit your taste buds. The sides like corn on the cob and potatoes are equally scrumptious and perfectly complement the seafood. Boiled eggs too rank high in the list. In between the two visits, we did order the King, Snow (has a lot of spikes on the legs and can be a bit challenging to work with) and the Dungness crab along with Shrimp, Potatoes, Eggs, Sweet Potato fries and Onion rings.
To sum it up, its an excellent value for a seafood feast. The prices justify the volume of food that is delivered which is served every bit fresh and the sauces/seasoning are to die for.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a seafood extravaganza in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!
12/13/2023 update: There was no line at 4pm on a Wednesday. Everything tasted great. Fried shrimp $14, fried oyster $12, onion rings $8.50, 10 wings $17 for 10 pieces and whole sha-bang medium spicy sauce at $16 a pound. King crab ($70/lb) were out of stock. I was going to order some dungeness ($30/lb) but they were frozen. Service was excellent as always.
Original review: There was a 30 deep line at 12pm before they opened. People that got here after 12pm had a 45 minutes wait. We had 5x bags of shrimp $15 each, fried oysters $10, wings $15 and fried shrimp $13. Paccifico beers $6. Rice $2.50. The medium heat shrimp bags weren't that hot. The XXX spice level ones were enjoyable. Everything there were pretty good. I did enjoy watching the football game on their TVs. Service was excellent.
Came here a few weeks on a Saturday morning ago just before opening.
There was already a long queue but we managed to get seated.
Food was good, medium spicy was just nicely spicy.
The food was amazing. The spice level also increases the flavor. I loved the shrimp and Dungeness crab. The lobster was a bit tough and chewy. The margaritas were fantastic.
It's one of my fav resturants of all time! We had shrimp, crab, and lobster . We did the whole shabang with med spicy,(if you like spicy you can handle it) and it was perfect and full of flavor! The service was great as well! We waited an hour and it was so worth it. It gets messy hahaha
The wait was 2 hours on a Sunday evening but it was worth the wait. It was my first time there and I enjoyed the experience.
The service was really helpful. She gave subtle cues on the right dishes to order. We picked most of the cues but failed to pick few :)
Prawn in shabang sauce is pretty good. King crab is good too but little expensive (75$). Would recommend getting corn as a addon. Won't recommend craw fish unless you are too sure of getting it.
Only reason why this isn't a 5 star is because wait was too long.
I always get shrimp with the shabang sauce, non spicy. I was disappointed that not a lot of sauce was added.
I feel like all restaurants are cutting down quantities or reducing certain things. I understand the expenses BUT we pay more too.
Meal as pictured:
Fried Calamari
Fried oysters
Half pound shrimp with Shabang sauce, none spicy (just was tasty)
I always order sides of rice, corn, and potatoes (not pictured)
