Fresh & such a tasteful blend of Eastern cuisines. Every time we come here, we try a new dish and are blown away by the flavors. You forget how vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free friendly the menu is!! And the incredibly kind and attentive staff! By far a local gem.
Some of my favorites are the vegan meatball sandwich, crab cakes, and the asian salmon bowl!!
Husband and I stopped by after I had just gotten a CT scan next door, I wasn't feeling too good but this place lifted my spirits! Also, their red velvet chocolate cream cheese muffin is to die for! Not too sweet, just right. I love that they have so many veggie options. Will definitely go back 😋
My girlfriend and I came here after a workout since we were craving something on the healthy side. I had a hard time choosing what to order because literally everything sounded so good and I actually overheard someone say that they've ordered over a dozen of different things and loved every single one of them. With the help of the girl at the register, I decided on the Holy Cow sandwich since it was one of their most popular ones and my girlfriend went with the Lemongrass Chicken Buddha Bowl.
The sandwich was delicious and I loved the caramelized onions they used. The meat was juicy and they had the perfect amount of cheese. My only critique would be that the bread was a little thick. Maybe I could ask them to scoop out the insides next time? I did try some of the bowl and it was fresh and tasty as well. The seasoning/marinade on the chicken was amazing.
The service was great too. They take your order at the counter before you sit down, but they still bring the food to you, check on you to see if you need water or something else, and will even grab your plates. The workers definitely deserve a tip, so make sure to leave them a nice gesture!
Perhaps the biggest reason I enjoyed this place was because of how nice the owner was (husband and wife own this place). The husband told us how he and his wife travel a lot and try to incorporate flavors from different parts of the world into their menu. I think he said over 26 countries are represented on their menu which is really unique. Also, most of the photos on the wall are his so I'm sure they have cool stories for each one.
I can't wait to go back to grab another healthy and tasty meal and hopefully enjoy a great conversation with the owner(s).
I was looking for a quick, healthy lunch and this place gave me exactlty that. For starters, the guy working (possibly the owner?) had a good sense of humor and his hospitality was on point! The menu is extensive with more than a few things I'd want to come back to try. My bowl had really fresh components but the flavor on the chicken could have popped more. Perhaps more dressing to coat everything could have solved that. Either way, I'd still say Thyme for Lunch is a solid spot to grab a quick bite.
This place is absolutely incredible! My friend had been wanting me to try it, since I am a vegetarian trying to be vegan. I was blown away by how flavorful everything was. Their Asian Persuasion sandwich with a side of Greek potato salad was just amazing. And their Yucatan potato soup is to die for. I will definitely be going back, a lot!
We had a very nice time. Food was amazing and the restaurant was very clean. It’s awesome you can pick breakfast or lunch plates. Drink selection is great too and the dessert side with vegan options looked delish. Will totally come back again for lunch and try a bowl.
Non vegetarian or vegetarian this restaurant have something for you.
The place was pretty clean, organize and spacious. They have tables for small to big group. They also cater order for to go through setting up a machine to make it easier. The menu is hanging which is visible for everyone in the restaurant. They have as well a small bakery on the side for your dessert. The kitchen is visible to everyone so it's pretty transparent for customers on what's happening in the kitchen.
Staff, I believe that everyone during our visit was engaged to their customers. Very attentive and thoughtful, as after you order they will ensure you have everything and get back after some minutes to ensure you are having the best time.
Food, we had Bulgogi tofu which is one of their vegetarian menus. The blend of mango and different taste of kimchi mixed well. On the other hand we also had Boss Hwag for non vegetarian a pulled pork sandwich that taste like bbq sandwich without the bbq sauce. I hope they have sauces offered for this sandwich, I believe this will be an added factor on the taste.
Overall experience was good. They have lots more to offer and hoping to get back and see what else on the menu.
A great, very tasty experience and a cool, chill vibe. Great breakfast and lunch selection, combining the American and Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend it!
