We went on Christmas day. Lots of ornaments, and a festival of colors! I wanted to try more things, so I ordered the dinner platter. Fajita was great! Enchilada was good, and taco was okay. It might be because of the crowd and due to the fact that we went on Christmas, but I felt like it's more designed for tourists and a little less authentic than I expected. But overall a pleasant experience! Margarita was good too!
We went here for breakfast and loved this place in every way. For the low prices (relative to California), they dish up really high quality and tasty food. My huevos rancheros came with 3 of the best flour tortillas that I've had anywhere. Our coffee cups were never empty. Our server was so friendly and treated us like family. We also loved the Christmas decor all over the restaurant.
Love the food and pastries here! We will definitely return. It seems like the bar was the place to go if you didn't want to wait. The bartenders were super nice and the food was just as good there as it was anywhere else. Seems like there was I'm almost a 40 minute wait. That said it's arguably some of the better Mexican food down there and the Pandaria it's almost unconquerable. There's so much food! You won't be disappointed.
We went during the lunch hour rush and were pleasantly surprised that they offered free valet parking. Once we registered with the hostess, we were seated in only 5 minutes. Our waitress came right after we were seated. Chips and salsa followed almost immediately, as did the drinks we had ordered. Our entire order for four took maybe 15 minutes to be served. The food was very tasty, and of course, we stopped on our way out and bought some delicious sweet bread to go.
Deliciously authentic Mexican cuisine! So good, I came for lunch two days in a row! 😋 I loved the Enchiladas Verdes and the Mexican special was also 👌 Wonderful selection of fresh salsas to accompany your meal. Generous portions so arrive hungry! The margaritas are great too! Shout out to Jorge and Carmen for their very excellent service 👏
We were visiting San Antonio and went to meet famous for dinner. They wanted to go to Mi Tierra. We had told numerous people we met along our journey that we had going there. Everyone seemed to know about it and had great reviews. Our boat captain on the riverwalk said that was his favorite place to go to. To say the least, we were not disappointed. We went on a Wednesday night-off season and they had a steady crowd. Sat in the bar waiting for our party. Service was excellent. Our waiter gave us a tour through the expansive, beautiful restaurant beautifully decorated restaurant. Food was hot and presented so delicious. Wish this restaurant was in our town because it would surely be our favorite. As we were leaving we were approached by an owner/manager. Oh, the bakery was phenomenal. We had to take numerous pastries back to the hotel for breakfast. Thank you for such a warm, welcoming experience.
This was my first time going. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Service was great. Food tasted fresh. Went on a Tuesday and it was extremely packed. We waited about 30 minutes but it was well worth it. I can't wait to go again when I'm back in town. Don't skip out on the margaritas!
Beautiful San Antonio gem!!! From the wide variety of freshly baked Pan Dulce to the delicioso menu of Breakfast, Brunch or Dinner menu, this 24/7 restaurant is a MUST visit and experience when enjoying as both tourist and local resident. It has been a tradition of mine after doing several Rock 'N Roll Half-marathons and each visit I feel like home.

This place is always a great place to stop and have a bite to eat. The food is amazing, and service usually is superb. This time, we had a waiter that just seemed like he did not want to be there. Very dry and did not check on us but one time during the meal.
