We discovered 225 Urban Smoke on accident in our attempt to cater our Thanksgiving dinner. We tried to order from our usual BBQ spots, but realized most places were not taking orders that late. I found this establishment on MYSA post, and I read the reviews. Everything thing I read made my mouth water. My wife headed out early Tuesday afternoon, and we ordered 3lbs of Turkey, 1lb of sausage, & 4 lbs of pork. When my wife was ordering, she mentioned that this was for Thanksgiving dinner, and the person taking her order was so so kind. They securely wrapped the turkey in wax paper and added extra juice to the pork to keep it moist. They put it in a pan and wrote instructions on the pan to how to warm up. The care that went into our order was impressive. The turkey was the best BBQ turkey I have ever had. I strongly encourage you to go visit 225 Urban Smok! It was incredible and we look forward to visiting them again. We’ll definitely be repeating this Thanksgiving tradition.

Outstanding experience! We ordered a turkey and there was an issue. The manager went above & beyond to correct the issue, and personally delivered to our house. The food was an absolute hit. Everyone loved the juicy well-seasoned fried turkey and cheesy mac & cheese. Their cheesecake is also creamy goodness. Enjoy!

Alright you all let’s talk about Urban Smoke. This place is so delicious and everyone is super friendly. I enjoy going here. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and quantity. I will say the Brisket is dangerous in the best way possibly. So tender and juicy, falls apart instantly. The flavor without BBQ sauce is delicious but when you add their house sauce it’s a BANGER. Let’s talk about the Mac and Cheese…lip smacking and mouthful of cheese goodness. Not only is it cheese the right way but it’s seasoned baby they put some garlic powder, onion powder, and something else in it to make it flavorful. I will say it’s a bit oily but that’s from all that cheese. So I’m not complaining, the flavor is present. Also let’s talk about the smoked chicken wings. They are smoked in every way and you taste it no matter how you bite it. Dip it in their ranch sauce which isn’t ordinary ranch either. They add something to make it extra special. Go check this place out. It’s delicious. So happy I went here and continue to come here. The staff is friendly as well. Greet you when you come in and check on you.

225 Urban Smoke is a local bbq restaurant with a cajun flare. A casual lay-back atmosphere. The fried macaroni were very filling. The Big Easy sandwich was great. The pulled pork was cooked to perfection. The Catfish Opelousas was divine, perfectly seasoned. The rice was tender and savory. The crawfish sauce was exquisite! The macaroni was delicious, and I loved its creaminess. For dessert, I had Nola Beignets- mmm, so light and fluffy, just the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience! Fantastic customer service! I recommend this restaurant!

We did take out here a few days ago. This is one of our go to places for great tasting barbecue. On this trip we ordered two of the three meat BBQ Plates which consisted of a large Spare Rib, Beef Brisket and Smoked Sausage. For the sides, we ordered House Potato Salad but we received a small green salad instead. We also got an order of Onion Rings and Shishito Peppers, Dirty Rice, and Macaroni and Cheese and an order of the Fried Catfish platter. As usual, all of the food was well seasoned and great tasting. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Everything that I’ve tried here I have loved. I definitely recommend the flying bird, the fresh beignets, and the onion rings are so good. The onion rings alone are worth mentioning because they have such a good seasoning and have to be real and made in house. Definitely not some typical frozen ones. And look at those huge chicken sandwiches! Only downside is that it is great food and big portions so you can expect to pay a little more.
