The food was delicious. Well, i have to be honest—we were a little circumspect when we entered through the grocery store. But, the food was excellent. The lamb chops i had was amazing. Kabuli pulau and chicken pulau were delicious too. The portion size is plenty and fulfilling too. Definitely a hidden gem in downtown salt lake city main street. Will visit again.

This is an excellent Mediterranean restaurant at the heart of the city. Caution: parking is very difficult here as there's none beside it. You'd have to do street parking within a few streets (if you are lucky). They also serve milk tea for $3 (not in menu)

It is one of those "hidden gem" places. Never judge a book by its cover. This place doesn't look very good from the outside and located at the back of the liquor store but you don't want to miss it. The food is so fresh and delicious and flavorful that you don't want it to end. The owner is very welcoming and polite. I'm definitely gonna stop by next time I'm in town.

Stopped by at a great time and had quick fabulous service. I came after the lunch rush and it they were very neat and clean nothing on the tables or floors. I ate the curry combo👌with nan as well as a beef kabob. The rice on the curry was great and I enjoyed the seasoning. All in all good spice without overwhelming. Nan was fluffy and scrumptious, went well with Curry N’ Kabobs 😉

I recently learned from a friend to try Curry N Kabobs .I love Afghan food and was so pleased to find this convenient location on main street and third south. This is by far the best Afghan food I've ever had. The food was truly authentic. The service was friendly, as was the owner. There is a great deal of pride that goes in to the food that was served. I tried a dish called Mantu, it was incredibly good. I am also a fan of the curry, not only was it flavorful but served with quality and speed. I have come back several times and have been never disappointed in any dish that I have received. The quantities are generous and have left satisfied each time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic Afghan food.

Super delicious hole in the wall in the back of a convenience store. Ask for extra spice in your bowl. They're fast and there are a lot of vegetarian options. The pita bread is tasty too. I had to call for help to find the location and they were super helpful. Parking nearby too. Great lunch spot!

Maybe 4.5 stars as the ambiance is a little lacking due to the stern gentleman running the store at the front of the space. The food was amazing and the owner was incredibly nice. He suggested the Mantu (#15), which I tried, and it was incredible. My wife had the #14 (name forgotten) with Lamb and it was a wonderful, and slightly sweet dish. It was a very nice evening and the owners and other staff were very pleasant to work with.

This place is a fun break from the usual fare! Nestled practically hidden in the back of a small downtown market is a great local restaurant. The service is fast and the food is fantastic! I have been three or four times and I love to bring my friends. My favorite thing here is the Shawarma Wrap, I may never have tried it if Tony Stark hadn't recommended it at the end of Avengers I, but man am I glad I did. There is a space above to dine in which is elegant and quiet. The owners are very friendly and eager to offer their recommendation. The last time I came, when I mentioned to the proprietor that I had brought five or six of my friends with me, he gave me a free drink, I said, "Great! I'll bring some more!"

They have delicious food. I visited quite a few times now. I loved their chicken kabob plate. Their chicken and lamb curries are also really good. Don’t forget a side of samosa. Good portions, hot and fast serving.

Price - Good Atmosphere - Good Food - Good This place is in the back of a convenience store that you have to walk thru to get to. That being said it had good seating and it appeared locals were there to eat. We ordered the Chickpea curry and were going to order the eggplant entre but they had run out of enough eggplant for a full entry but had enough for an appetizer. Still very good. I also ordered the Dough which I have had at Persian restaurants. The guy behind the counter did warn me that is was not sweet and someone people thought it was too salty and bitter (smart move for those who've not had it). Which is correct although I did not consider it bitter but it is salty. It is essentially a yogurt drink with some cucumber in it and mint. Very thirst satisfying. Overall I would return to this restaurant. Good vegetarian dishes and great location on downtown main street.
