House Of Kabobs & Pita - Salt Lake City - Photo album

The food was delicious. Well, i have to be honest—we were a little circumspect when we entered through the grocery store. But, the food was excellent. The lamb chops i had was amazing. Kabuli pulau and chicken pulau were delicious too. The portion size is plenty and fulfilling too. Definitely a hidd
This is an excellent Mediterranean restaurant at the heart of the city. Caution: parking is very difficult here as there's none beside it. You'd have to do street parking within a few streets (if you are lucky). They also serve milk tea for $3 (not in menu)
It is one of those "hidden gem" places. Never judge a book by its cover. This place doesn't look very good from the outside and located at the back of the liquor store but you don't want to miss it. The food is so fresh and delicious and flavorful that you don't want it to end. The owner is very wel
Stopped by at a great time and had quick fabulous service. I came after the lunch rush and it they were very neat and clean nothing on the tables or floors. I ate the curry combo👌with nan as well as a beef kabob. The rice on the curry was great and I enjoyed the seasoning. All in all good spice
I recently learned from a friend to try Curry N Kabobs .I love Afghan food and was so pleased to find this convenient location on main street and third south. This is by far the best Afghan food I've ever had. The food was truly authentic. The service was friendly, as was the owner. There is a gre
Super delicious hole in the wall in the back of a convenience store. Ask for extra spice in your bowl. They're fast and there are a lot of vegetarian options. The pita bread is tasty too. I had to call for help to find the location and they were super helpful. Parking nearby too. Great lunch spot!
Maybe 4.5 stars as the ambiance is a little lacking due to the stern gentleman running the store at the front of the space. The food was amazing and the owner was incredibly nice. He suggested the Mantu (#15), which I tried, and it was incredible. My wife had the #14 (name forgotten) with Lamb and i
This place is a fun break from the usual fare! Nestled practically hidden in the back of a small downtown market is a great local restaurant. The service is fast and the food is fantastic! I have been three or four times and I love to bring my friends. My favorite thing here is the Shawarma Wrap,
They have delicious food. I visited quite a few times now. I loved their chicken kabob plate. Their chicken and lamb curries are also really good. Don’t forget a side of samosa. Good portions, hot and fast serving.
Price - Good Atmosphere - Good Food - Good This place is in the back of a convenience store that you have to walk thru to get to. That being said it had good seating and it appeared locals were there to eat. We ordered the Chickpea curry and were going to order the eggplant entre but they had run o
Uh, delicious! Hidden gem in the back of a convenience store!(I think this is a common case) I loved the kabob and curry combo. Not a ton of seating, but what do you expect? They have a hot sauce on the counter which is a MUST for the rice. 👌🏼
Wow. Wow wow wow. This place had some of the tastiest and most tender meat I had ever had. The guy at the counter, name was AJ, he called me brother and treated me like it. He brought plates out to me and my friends, and he gave us smart and honest recommendations to the menus extensive treasures. T
Great experience! We were group of 5. Everyone’s order was decently proportional and the spice level was great. The prices were reasonable too and it’s definitely good place to for lunch/brunch. A bit small space with limited seatings.l behind a convenient store. The chicken shawarma wrap is pretty
We got there late 15 minutes prior to them closing. We only were able to order the Curry's however they were nicely done. They gave Pita bread which was not good compared to Naan bread. I still give them 4 stars due to their kindness, their taste and their timeliness. I will go back to taste their
Great customer service, and great food! A good variety of Indian and Afghan dishes. It's sort of out of the way, but conveniently right next to a Trax station. Prices are reasonable. The mango lassi was sort of expensive, but quite good. I would definitely recommend this place!
Cute little hole-in-the-wall type place. The owner was really kind and helpful with our orders, offering recommendations. I had never had Afghan food before, and I'm super adventurous- I loved it! Great prices for the area.
Humble back of the store type of place. One guy runs the store and another one is the restaurant - cooks and takes the orders. I asked for the best Afghan item on the menu and ended up with spiced dumplings. Nice, delicate outer layer, mint yogurt sauce, and a yummy meat filling.
