Beyond fresh and tasty. This is artisanal gelato, which means that besides all the traditional flavors you would expect, they regularly feature wonderfully inventive flavors, like sticky rice gelato served with fresh mangos and cream, or blood orange and chocolate, which is to die for, and the list goes on and on. And it is served in the most eclectic, artist-inspired shop in Salt Lake.
The highlight of my trip to Salt Lake City. The flavor choice was extensive. I tried the root beer and pear flavors. Both were amazing!!! I ended up getting the pear flavor, but it was a really hard choice. The root beer flavor tasted like a root beer float and you could feel the fizz. The people working there were really nice. The atmosphere was cool. Just all in all amazing.

This is definitely a hip spot to visit. The decor is over the top and requires one to experience in person. The location is convenient and the ambience of this store matches the area it is in. The gelato was decent. I’d come back to try the rest of the flavors. The service was great. I recommend you try.
CUTEST interior and amazing flavors!!! the coconut sticky rice and strawberry balsamic are my fav combo—the little bits of rice in the gelato are so good!!!!!! def the best gelato place in the slc area
Best Gelato in town! (In my humble opinion) Service was with a huge smile and the lines were long! Clearly they must be doing something right! Love the ambience and it was a perfect night to have our gelato outside! Try the piña colada and pistachio! Will definitely return!!
We took medium size gelato and latte. Amount was good but not as tasty as I expected. Latte was okay.
First visit to Salt Lake and we were on the hunt for the best gelato and we found it! The Turkish Coffee flavor was lovely. The pistachio flavor with the Turkish coffee flavor is an explosion of flavor!
Also I love the eclectic vibe. We really enjoyed ourselves! Parking can be a challenge if they are busy though- just an FYI.
I have gone here twice and the gelato tastes great and they have a good variety. Not too many flavors that it would be overwhelming, but enough to keep it interesting. Beautiful interior. Friendly employees. Overall a nice spot.
I came in Monday around noon. There were people coming in and out but it was empty enough to make it feel like it was just me experiencing someone else's dream. The ambiance was surreal, especially with Cocteau Twins playing in the background. It was a lovely way to spend a wintry February afternoon.

Visiting from Dallas Ft. Worth and this was one of my first stops. Talk about setting the stage for a grand trip! This place is truly one of the coolest gelato places I have ever been. The moment you walk in the door your eyes are memorized with all the eclectic mix of chandeliers, pictures on the wall etc. The gelato is so yummy and you can even split flavors in each cup if you want. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed!
Great eating! Hands down the best Gelato in town! Highly recommend to hike here if you are from out of town. Great atmosphere, people and location. I get the sticky rice every single time I come here.
Dolcetti’s is truly unparalleled in the quality of their gelato and just the immense amount of entertaining stuff decorating the restaurant! I love their sticky rice gelato paired with a fruity flavor, but honestly all of their flavors have been delicious!
I highly recommend coming in for a cup/cone, leaving your old student ID behind, and searching one of their eye-spy tables with a friend or date!
