My GO TO place for fried cod. The waitresses are very on top of things with orders and drink refills.
EDIT: Visited again and had the nicest waitress and bus boy, John. Very good dinner. The carrot cake was delicious!

Always a good value when we come here - we can each get a burger and beer and spend less than $40. They have good daily specials as well. Just a great neighborhood place with good bar food and food drinks.

The cod fish diñner is an excellent choice of fish. This time it was overcooked and had to be sent back.easily accommodated and brought back my regular lightly breaded large fish!

The food was great, Best toasted raviolis in STL. Service was great also. Downside, the guys in the dishwashing room had their Alexa blasting music and having a rap battle 🤦. It was ridiculous loud and they were rude when the server asked them to turn it down a little. We could still hear them at the front door as we were leaving. I'm sure this will be a big turn off to their customers.

Love it! Old school South side bar and restaurant nestled in a neighborhood at the intersection of Haven and Morganford. Great burgers, pot roast, and love the crinkle fries. Clean and neat.

We got the appetizer sampler and some burgers. The chicken tenders, toasted ravs, and onion petals were some of the best I've ever had and the horseradish sauce was amazing. The burger might just be my new favorite burger in the city. We went Saturday after the tornado winds had taken out our electricity, and were so hungry and stressed. The staff were so compassionate and lovely. I can't wait to go back for another burger and to try the french onion soup - one of my favorite foods. Oh also I got the carrot cake and it really is delicious.

This place has awesome food!! Cheddar burger is great! The steak sandwich is great also but make sure you tell them well if you want it medium.. delicious and priced reasonable.. they sometimes never answer the phone to place order.. just call back and or leave message. Satisfying.
