I can't say enough good things about Bogart's Smokehouse! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of smoked meats fills the air, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The brisket practically melts in your mouth, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The sides are equally impressive; the baked beans and potato salad are a must-try. Whether you're a local or just passing through St. Louis, do yourself a favor and visit Bogart's Smokehouse. It's an absolute gem for anyone craving delicious, authentic barbecue

This BBQ place is a must do. I got the ribs and the burnt ends. The ribs need no sauce and are perfect as is. I'd never tried burnt ends and they were awesome. All of the folks there were friendly and the service was top notch and you could tell they truly care. The restaurant is in a beautiful neighborhood although the walk from downtown is mostly going under highway underpasses so I would recommend an Uber if coming from downtown. The walk between the restaurant and the budweiser brewery is beautiful through the Soulard neighborhood. Highly recommend this wonderful place

When visiting St Louis this place was highly recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Best ribs I have ever had and my wife agreed. The tri tips, pulled pork, and brisket was great too! Do check hours though, they close at 4 most days.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. If you're traveling to St Louis, make sure this is one of your stops! Just make sure to get there early, they sell out!

My husband has been eyeballing this place for years and we finally enjoyed lunch at Bogart's this afternoon. The man who brought us our food (also a cook) told us that we had to try the ribs without sauce first. And thank God we did. They were literally the best ribs we've EVER had. That's accounting for Kansas City BBQ and Texas cooking. The man told us that they smother the ribs in an apricot glaze and jeez, that's the right thing to do to them. A friend told me right before going that Bogart's supposedly has the best barbecue in the city of St. Louis and he was absolutely right. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich (which comes served on a potato bun) with the slaw and potato salad. My husband ordered the ribs and brisket with baked beans and potato salad. All of it was tasty, but we couldn't get over the ribs. We were seated quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'll be back, probably pretty soon. Though it may be sinful to enjoy that much of a good thing. 🐖

This hidden gem is a MUST DO! It's small in size, but huge and delectable in taste. The babyback ribs are just to die for, always perfectly done. The sides are delicious also. Today we had the baked beans and sweet and sour cole slaw, but the potato salad is also outstanding. It's also across the street from Solard Market, so convenient! Do yourself a huge favor and stop in here. It's our favorite Friday destination!

I put in an order at Bogarts online and got the family pack, 2 Full Slabs of Ribs, 2 quart sides of Potato Salad and Baked Beans. I also got a little order of Fire and Ice Pickles, they were solid. I got there right at the time of pick up which was impeccable timing. I waited for about 5 minutes and then got my order. Looked super good and cool that they put in an extra bottle of sauce. The ribs were one of the juiciest I've ever tasted. They did an amazing job and both sides were super good as well. The Fire and Ice Pickles is something else. A few of my family members who don't like pickles were eating it like salad, that was the true MVP of the meal in my opinion! Overall great place and definitely recommend.

Best bbq I had in quite same time. I had half-slab and my wife pulled pork. The baby back ribs were close to fall-of-the-bone, right where most people enjoy them most. Very tender, full of smoke flavor, juicy. Sweet glaze on top, but not overpowering. The kind of ribs you eat and at the end you realize you did not use any bbq sauce or asked your wife if she wants some :) Kind of ribs that only backyard bbq or few select business can compete with (and I've tried bbq joints in NC, SC, KS, FL, TX, VA, IL, and few other states). The pulled pork was 9/10, especially when you get piece with some bark on it and/or add one of their bbq sauce. There were 4 kinds of sauce available with different flavor profiles - sweet one, one with hints of mustard, one spicy, and the last one I forgot Beans were extraordinary, I bet it would do well in any bbq competition for sides. Fast service. ~10 minutes to get the food even when the place was packed during lunch. Seating outside and inside. The only downside was that I did not get to taste burnt ends, sold out before 1pm :( Good atmosphere, full of bbq pictures and trophies. Paid parking in front of the business (I think it was $2.5/hour). Highly recommend if you like KC style bbq. And even if you like Texas style bbq, visit this place and get some new perspective :)

So during my visit to St. Louis I went to the Arch and asked different people who were locals where they'd recommend I eat. Some suggested seafood, burgers, and of course ribs. I asked where the best ribs in town were and the first couple seemed too "chainy" and I wanted something local and unique. At the fudge store inside the Arch--yes, you heard that right--a young lady and I were talking about food and her and family being from Louisiana (where my parents are from) I knew I could trust her palate. So she recommended this place and showed me some pictures and set myself to go. She said it's not as well known but is known to locals, so again, another plus. Parking with the ParkLouie app was easy and inexpensive right across the street. She suggested the ribs of course, but also to have turkey as well. Got the half rack, fire and ice pickles, apple sauce, and a 1/4 lb of turkey. The pickles were definitely packing the heat and balanced by the sweetness. The applesauce was chunky and fresh, none of the processed stuff you get in stores. But the main event, those ribs...as you can see from the clean bone, I was a fan. Tender, well seasoned, flavorful, just awesome, no additional sauce needed. And then that hot turkey...I won't swear here but I uttered a few words a few times under my breath, it was that good. This is coming from a Texas Meat eater, it all was amazing.

This placed lived up to expectations and didn’t disappoint. Price was very reasonable and staff was friendly. Ribs, turkey, pulled pork were excellent. Baked beans were delicious. Slaw was vinegary but that’s how I prefer them. No complaints at all. We were only passing through the area but will definitely stop by again next time we come through
