Great food & cool location. We entered with a party of 10, and even though they weren’t staffed for such a big group (right after holidays, and no reservation made), they rocked it!! Our server, Kenneth, was on-point, attentive, and never flustered with our group’s demands. Annnd, the food was EXCELLENT. Totally recommend this spot.
Wow!! What an awesome experience. I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Jackson's Beer Garden & SmokeHouse, and let me tell you the food was great, the portion size was enough, the food was hot and the hostess/waitress/owner was really nice. She showed us the garden area which was simply beautiful, in addition they have an event called RVA Takeover( I hope thats right) but it allows local artist to showcase there talents in the areas fashion/art/music etc. How awesome is it to have a place in the heart of the city to showcase so many hidden talents and talented individuals. Its nice visit places that have that down home feel. I will be back to visit again soon!!
I got the Smokehouse MAC-N-Cheese. It was just good, it was not as good as the Smokehouse Brisket Burger! The burger is the whole reason I’m giving them a 5 Star rating. The fries and pasta salad were good too. He atmosphere was really nice. I was seated, along with another couple, in what seemed like the back where we kind of got forgotten. Once again the Burger is really holding this at a 5-Star for me.
This place is amazing!!!!! The owner is so sweet and the food was amazing!!!!!! My husband and I will be back! Great food at great prices in a warm environment! The fried pork skins were the BEST!!!
Cynthia and her staff are awesome. Great happy hour, food (wings and pork rinds are out of this world), and people. I go here several times a week - it’s that good.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. The food is fantastic. My wife and I have been to several restaurants in Richmond, multiple times. This was our first time at Jackson's. I told the manager they bumped a competing restaurant off our list.

My mother, sister and I visited this place on 7-31-17. The food was SOOO GOOD and We had great service! We ordered the Smokehouse Mac and cheese with pork. Sounds odd but amazing when it hits your taste buds. The wings are really delicious and have a great smoky flavor. We also tried the fried okra, greens and baked beans and it was mm mm yummy! Definitely will be coming back!
We sat in the bar area because the restaurant was full, and the bartender was great. Best wings I've had in Richmond. Mac & Cheese with turkey sausage was tasty but almost too rich--we took most of it home and used it as a side with other meals, which worked very well. The mixed drink we ordered ended up being very sweet, but my partner enjoyed it.
Delicious food and great service. Owner was friendly and down to earth. BBQ sauces were amazing...my favorites were the Smokey and the Spicy sauces. My fiance and I shared a 3 meat combo platter and it was plenty of food. We are stuffed. Will definitely come back and look forward to this business flourishing.
