I got the Smokehouse MAC-N-Cheese. It was just good, it was not as good as the Smokehouse Brisket Burger! The burger is the whole reason I’m giving them a 5 Star rating. The fries and pasta salad were good too. He atmosphere was really nice. I was seated, along with another couple, in what seemed like the back where we kind of got forgotten. Once again the Burger is really holding this at a 5-Star for me.

My mother, sister and I visited this place on 7-31-17. The food was SOOO GOOD and We had great service! We ordered the Smokehouse Mac and cheese with pork. Sounds odd but amazing when it hits your taste buds. The wings are really delicious and have a great smoky flavor. We also tried the fried okra, greens and baked beans and it was mm mm yummy! Definitely will be coming back!

We sat in the bar area because the restaurant was full, and the bartender was great. Best wings I've had in Richmond. Mac & Cheese with turkey sausage was tasty but almost too rich--we took most of it home and used it as a side with other meals, which worked very well. The mixed drink we ordered ended up being very sweet, but my partner enjoyed it.

Delicious food and great service. Owner was friendly and down to earth. BBQ sauces were amazing...my favorites were the Smokey and the Spicy sauces. My fiance and I shared a 3 meat combo platter and it was plenty of food. We are stuffed. Will definitely come back and look forward to this business flourishing.

Great service and the best wings I have ever has. The St. Louis ribs were juicy and just fell of the bone with perfect flavor. Highly recommend. Great beer selection with good local microbrews and one from the Pacific Northwest from my home state. Will be back here next time I am in Richmond.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere. These wings are hands-down my favorite ever... The honey - smoked flavor is incredible. Even once we're finished eating my husband has trouble getting me to leave because I want to keep listening (read: dancing in my chair) to the classic soul/ r&b music.

Best wings we've ever had, no sauce necessary. Great ribs, great brisket, and the wrap is good, too. Good music and atmosphere in an historic part of the city. I wish we could make it here more often. Always an absolute pleasure.

Holy moly! Best pork chops I've ever had....seasoned to perfection ....great taste. Collards had a perfect hint of spicy. ..mac and cheese was amazing. My spouse had the pulled pork and fries....she loved it. House sauces were great....we tried the sweet and spicy and it was perfect....wish we would have had a bottle to carry home lol
Our server Kenneth was great...very chill and friendly. We are totally coming back for some of that smoked meat next time we're in Richmond

Great food & cool location. We entered with a party of 10, and even though they weren’t staffed for such a big group (right after holidays, and no reservation made), they rocked it!! Our server, Kenneth, was on-point, attentive, and never flustered with our group’s demands. Annnd, the food was EXCELLENT. Totally recommend this spot.

Wow!! What an awesome experience. I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Jackson's Beer Garden & SmokeHouse, and let me tell you the food was great, the portion size was enough, the food was hot and the hostess/waitress/owner was really nice. She showed us the garden area which was simply beautiful, in addition they have an event called RVA Takeover( I hope thats right) but it allows local artist to showcase there talents in the areas fashion/art/music etc. How awesome is it to have a place in the heart of the city to showcase so many hidden talents and talented individuals. Its nice visit places that have that down home feel. I will be back to visit again soon!!

We cannot say enough about the food. DELICIOUS, it reminded me of my days in Georgia with my Uncle Sam. The ribs, chicken, greens, Mac n cheese and baked beans...OMG, simply delicious!

This is a wonderful spot in Historic Jackson Ward. Love the atmosphere, the server was informed and offered wonderful suggestions. Excellent choice! We chose to have lunch here on the day of VCU graduation. The place was packed. There was a wait... which is never a problem for fantastic food. I could literally go here and just eat all of the sides they are so good. Good down home southern cookin! This place will do remarkably well. Thank you for the great conversation and hospitality!
