I have wanted to have Sir Pizza since I was a kid in the 1980’s. Finally had it for the first time today and it was a great experience. It reminded me of getting Pizza from Donatos in Ohio when I was in college. But even better. The subs were great and so was the pizza. Prices were also highly reasonable and the staff was so darn nice, that it was shocking. We will definitely be back!

Sir Pizza has always been my go to pie! Family owned for decades, and a team of people that establish relationships with their regular customers to the level of having their orders on the front counter by the time they walk through the front door. Sir Pizza takes pride in their unmatched level of consistency, and as a result, their food is truly exceptional. "Good to the very edge" (their slogan) is a prime example of how unique this pizza really is, a trademark that makes it exceptionally unique in addition to the deliciously sweet sauce and excellent provolone cheese. It's definitely worth a try, a true staple of North Hills tradition. 10/10!!!

If you’ve had sir pizza, then you need no explanation. If you’ve never had sir pizza, then no explanation will suffice, but I will try my best. I grew up eating Sir Pizza, multiple times a week. I was a pretty big kid. Sirs makes one of the most unique pizzas I’ve ever had, and I’ve had pizza from all over, from New York to Hawaii and many places in between. There’s nothing quite like the sir pizza brand of pizza. To be up front: this is a small franchised chain. This is one of several locations I’ve eaten at. All taste perfectly the same. When I say a small franchised chain, I mean there’s a handful of Sir Pizza locations spread out over the Ohio river valley, and a couple in other states, as well as the parent company called Pizza King in Indiana with several locations as well(if you’re from Indiana, and are missing Pizza King, here’s your place to eat!). First, the pizza is unique in many ways, not the least of which is that the toppings go all the way to the edge, there’s no “handlebar” crust to hold onto. Secondly, the pizza is typically cut into a “party cut”, that is to say, the slices are square pieces, in a round pie, instead of the traditional “wedge” cut of a round pie. Third, the crust has a great mixture of textures, the bottom is nice and firm and crispy, a fully loaded slice will still stay perfectly flat. But the upper portion of the crust is nice and chewy bread interior. The sauce has an interesting flavor to it that can’t be described. It’s on the sweet side, but definitely has some good Italian herbal seasonings in it too. The cheese is just right, thick enough to coat the pie, but not so thick is creates a gooey mess. The toppings are generous, my favorite is pepperoni, which is one of their most unique aspects, they use ground pepperoni. Instead of sliced pepperoni, the ground pepperoni ensures that every bite has some meat in it. When asked for it to be well-done, the pepperoni gets a nice chart to the tips that only enhances the smokey pepperoni flavor. Overall, sir pizza is, hands down, my favorite pizza place to eat at. There are others who make a “better pizza”, but not by much, and they usually all have the same traditional styles, whenever I visit a city that has a Sir Pizza (or a pizza king), I make it a point to stop in because the flavor is good, and because it’s such a unique experience that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else. This is the original Pittsburgh area location, and the place I spent many nights having dinner over the years, and many hours playing the video games. This was a 10” pepperoni pie that was a perfect dinner to split with my wife. The staff there is always super friendly, as well, and the location was well organized and has expanded a lot from when I used to live here. Note: because the pizza is identical, the review for this location and the Ross location will also be nearly identical, consider most of this as a review of the company as a whole.) Out of 14 nights in Pittsburgh, we chose to eat Sir Pizza 4 times, including one party at my aunt’s house where the entire family was thrilled when the pizza arrived. For comparison sake, I’ve included 3 pictures, one from 2011, one from 2017, and one from 2022, to demonstrate the consistency of Sir Pizza.

I can't believe it took me this long to get here. This pizza is perfect. The crust is thin, the sauce is smooth and the smoked cheese is the best. Not salty like so many others. Loved it so much on Friday we went back on Saturday.

I have celiac disease, so I’m allergic to wheat. Very difficult for me to find pizza that’s safe to eat. FOOD ALLERGIES SUCK. The gentleman that took my order was courteous and disclosed the risk of cross contamination. He went above and beyond to prepare my food as safely as possible, limiting cross contamination by using the back oven. I really appreciated his kindness, and the pizza was the best gluten free pizza I’ve had in Pittsburgh area! I will definitely be back!

We love the pizza here! The place hasn't changed inside much and gets very crowded, but the food is worth the wait.

Old school sort of pizza spot with the party cut! All of the staff is very nice. Order at the window and pick it up when it’s ready to take to your table yourself, the pizza was so good. Best I’ve had in a long time!

Pizza and salads were good. The marinara sauce tasted spoiled. Over all, I'd try their other food items in the future.
