Pamela’s is consistently awesome… particularly when you’re hungover. The hotcakes and Pittsburgh hash are incredible. There is always a wait but the line moves fast. We had a party of four on a Saturday around 12:30/1 and they originally told us 45 minutes but we were seating in less than 20. Parking is easiest on Smallman Street and you’ll want to walk around a bit after stuffing your face.

One of the coolest spots in Pittsburgh! Incredible location, delightful servers, and wow such an awesome retro diner vibe! Top all that with ambiance ...off the charts. Great spot... so stop in and grab a plate of Pittsburgh hash.

Pamelas is my favorite brunch place in Pittsburgh. It provides high quality and large portion dishes. My favorite savory dish is the corn beef hash. The corn beef is not salty. The hash is pan fried and a little crispy, which makes it taste so good. For the two eggs, I always go with the scrambled egg. Every time I saw the scrambled eggs, I feel like it used more than 2 eggs. If you want exactly 2 eggs, you can choose the over easy egg. Also, don’t miss the hotcake. The hotcake is a French style one and a little bit crispy. The original flavor already tastes good. If you got a chance, you must try the special flavor ones. They are not too sweet. With the stuffing inside the hotcake, they taste extra good.

I had the pleasure of dining at Pamela's Diner on 9/14/23; it was easily the best breakfast experience I had all week. I opted for the Meat & Cheese Omelet featuring sausage, cheddar cheese, and a side of Lyonnaise potatoes and French toast. To wash it all down, I had a refreshing black iced tea. The food was beyond terrific—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The ambiance of the diner was inviting, making the experience even more enjoyable. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service; the staff was friendly and attentive. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Pittsburgh, and Pamela's Diner is definitely on my must-visit list. Highly recommended!

I was in town for a wedding and didn't want a hotel breakfast. Found Pamela's online. Great choice. Had amazing scrambled eggs with cream cheese. Pancakes ultra thin and yummy. It is crowded all the time, but we only waited 10 minutes for a table. We liked it so much we ordered take out the next day after the wedding. The Pittsburgh hash was the best! Parking is on the street and can be a bit challenging.

Boy howdy. This place lived up to the hype. The side potatoes were absolutely heavenly. So soft, amazing flavor, incredibly priced. The strawberry crepe pancakes and the croissant French toast were INCREDIBLE. Definitely recommend getting a few things to share. Vibe, staff, area was super fun. We came at 9:00 on a weekday and had no wait. Cannot wait to come back.

Awesome place- omelets are to die for, same with the potatoes. And, they are attentive to gluten issues and my GF love had no problems eating here. Only wish we lived closer bc it’s def worth coming back to.

One of the best breakfasts I've had... Everyone we spoke to told us to go there for breakfast in the strip. It's spacious with lots of street parking around. Stuffed crêpes with strawberries, brown sugar, sour cream, and whip cream and cooked to perfection. Eggs and perfect bacon... on the side! DIVINE! The place was packed and takes you back to years gone by with its thematically decorated walls and pictures of Pamela? Everything on the menu looked sensational! I can't wait to go back! Definitely did not disappoint! Check it out!

Everything you read about Pamela's is true. Food is amazing. The crepe-style pancakes have the crispiest edges that do the trick! Service is fast and friendly. Definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast when you're in Pittsburgh.

This place has it all. Cool little place with that old school look. Feels like you traveled back in time. Very friendly service and the food outstanding. However it does get busy so get there early!
