Lucky Jean Seafood

Wanted a good shrimp and oyster po-boy but my favorite place was closed, so I decided to give Lucky Jeans a try on my way back from Gretna, approaching the parking lot there were not to many parked vehicles...on a Friday evening...not a good sign, but by the time I parked, the spots began filling up quickly. I went in and noticed the place was fairly organized but most of all clean.I ordered the Po-boys dressed of course, service was great, prices were pretty good and the Po-boys were delivered in a timely manner.Upon reaching my destination and diving into the Po-boys...to my surprise they were loaded with shrimp and oysters and surprisingly the bread was soft,.Lidenheimer of course on top of everything....pretty tasty, not bad for a first try, I'll probably go back!

Wonderful service and my red beans were perfectly seasoned/flavored! Great prices too. My boiled shrimp was ok but some ended up being too mushy (then again I did pick up my food about an hour before closing) and I expected them to be seasoned. Watch the hours because they aren't necessarily the same on here. I'll definitely go back to try more items!

While in town visiting from NYC I stopped in to check out this spot. Staff was friendly food was delicious. We ordered the combo plater of fish and shrimps. Everyone in the group loved the food. Good taste and very fresh! I didnt try the gumbo but my friend gave it a great review! Says it is delicious. Overall great spot with parking and reasonably priced.
