If I could give 10 stars, I would. If you have been on the fence because it's expensive & you weren't sure, I am here to tell you GO. It was a 3 hour, multi course adventure. SERVICE is impeccable. Food is glorious. You can get seated by yourself or opt for the family style. We went family style & were sat at a large 10 top. The food is served to share & pass around, with each half of the table getting food. Didn't know the menu in advance, so it was all a surprise. There is a chalkboard as you walk in with the menu written on it. We had to check it because we were getting full & we needed to pace ourselves. We made connections with people that night. Made memories. That's the whole point.

I just want to start with one word- WOW. My husband and I have considered MSC for a few of our last visits but the time just hasn’t been right. Well, we finally booked it and I’m so glad. The communal seating was a hurdle for us, so if that’s something you feel on the fence about, just take the chance. You’ll be in good company of other New Orleanians or others who love it too, so you’re in good company. If you’re lucky enough to get the oyster soup then you’re a lucky duck because it was intense. I’ve never had anything like it and never will and I’m okay with it as the memory of how amazing it was will last a lifetime. The sweet potato biscuits were another big standout for me, personally. There are many wonderful places to dine in New Orleans but if you want a one of a kind experience with great humans, great service and even more incredible food, you must try Mosquito Supper Club. They truly care about what they’re feeding you.

My wife and I have the cookbook to this restaurant and all the dishes looked amazing. When we had the opportunity to visit New Orleans we made a reservation right away. We got there early and had a cocktail, the oysters, and caviar while we waited for a table. If you can’t get a reservation or you just want something small, I would highly recommend sitting outside and having drinks and their small plates. Everything was delicious. For dinner we did a communal table and it was the best thing. I am not a very social person but the staff seemed to know who to put with each other and we had the best conversation at our table and met some amazing people. Also, locals go there which I think says a lot about the place. They have a lot of return customers and I definitely see why. Every course was delicious, the wine pairings were great, and there was plenty of food.

Came with a large group for a birthday, and start to finish, it was an amazing experience. It is admittedly an investment upfront, with an included tip at the time of booking, but I can immediately put any concerns to rest about the cost, because it is worth it. The menu was extensive, and with an optional wine pairing, everyone in the group left incredibly satisfied. The food is clearly made with passion and fresh, local ingredients. The service was attentive without being overbearing, allowing a private yet fun atmosphere for the entirety of the dinner. This is an opportunity I will reserve for special occasions, but I am already looking forward to the next visit.

I joined the Mosquito Supper Club for dinner at the community table as a party of 1. Before my trip to New Orleans ended, I wanted to experience classic Cajun food. I decided on the Mosquito Supper Club because of the reviews and the chef's approach to local products and traditional recipes. It was a truly special supper. The strangers I sat with were all incredibly friendly and made for an interesting meal. The food itself? It was fantastic. My favorite was "Velma Marie's Oyster Soup", but everything was delightful. The Mosquito Supper Club is a unique restaurant and well worth the financial and time investment to visit. My meal will be a memory I treasure for years to come.

Unbelievable experience! This restaurant is the most special dinner adventure. Great atmosphere, one of a kind. The courses seemed to be never ending. Each course came with complimentary side dishes that were so full of flavor and love. This restaurant is thoughtful from the smallest details to the big picture. Overall, this was the best meal of my life. I thought I was going to die happy, but now I know I will. Also, the staff was very accommodating with my allergies, (we let them know ahead of time) and very discreet about it with the other patrons, which I really appreciated. This is a once in a lifetime magical restaurant.

Loved this dining experience! All the staff was enthusiastic and attentive. The setting was a charming old, New Orleans house. ALL the tasting courses were incredible. The gumbo light and flavorful - outstanding! The crab claws butter bits of perfectly cooked meat. Everything super memorable!

Sunday, July 17th 2022 If you have a chance to do one dining experience when you come to the city, the communal cajun love story that is The Mosquito Supper Club is it. I have included photos from our personal experience. This - of course - includes the food. It also features the cookbook I bought awhile ago by Chef Melissa M. Martin. I brought my copy in and the staff was super nice and signed it for me, including Chef! There is also a sample of the menu we had and the drink menu. I say sample because their menu fluctuates depending on what local food and produce they get. A few key notes: Do the wine pairing. It was on a whole new level and escalated the flavor profiles of the food. It is communal which was a little intimidating for me, BUT it ended up great! Everyone had a good time, we met some really fun people (I sat across from this lovely woman named Margaret and her wife, and a really sweet retired couple next to me). We all helped each other with the food, and talked of our other food experiences in the city. It was still very intimate as the limit how many seats a night. There was PLENTY of food to go around for everyone. We tried our damndest to get through everything and there was just too much of it. They even let us box things up to take home. The staff was absolutely amazing. The hostess and manager came in before they served the food to give us some background on the food we would be eating, where they came from and emphasized their backgrounds. The servers were quick to help and answer questions, the bartender was extremely knowledge when it came to not only our cocktails, but the background of the wines. And the food gave me some of those Ratatouille feels in the pit of my stomach that made me tear up a little. It can be somewhat intimidating using the reservation system on Tock. I didn’t have issues with it, but as this particular experience is seasonal it can be hard to find seating. The way we were able to do it is sign up for notice on the nights we had in mind, and they told us ASAP when they were available. I also follow their social media which does let you know if they have last minute seating available. We did not experience the Mosquito Bites outdoor seating option since we did the Supper Club so I can’t tell you really anything about that portion of the experience EXCEPT that their menu still looked exceptional. I read through some of the past reviews, and I can’t really speak for them but I can’t emphasize enough… THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IF YOU COME TO NEW ORLEANS AND WANT A TRUE FOOD EXPERIENCE. If you’re a local, this is something you need to do. My husband and I live locally here in New Orleans, and didn’t experience ANY of the issues brought up in some of those past reviews. 100% do this. You will leave with a better understanding of Louisiana.

Words cannot describe how good the food was during our visit to this beautiful restaurant. The building was in a wonderfully appointed historic New Orleans home that oozed history, ambiance, and cozy hinting at the meal to come. The coctails are beautifully crafted and are a welcome addition to appetizers. The feel of the meal is distinctive to the New Orleans and will leave you remembering your time spent with a smile of satisfaction. I cannot wait to visit again on my next trip!

I have been to the Mosquito Supper Club twice now while photographing weddings and it is an excellent experience every time! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is warm and intimate and the food is always outstanding. The space also photographs really well, so if you're considering a special event this is your sign!
