Got to go orders of sweet and sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, and Chinese sausage fried rice. I have to say that this was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. The waiter was super nice, and the restaurant was cute.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a crowd eagerly waiting outside the restaurant before it even opened, and it's easy to see why. This place is truly exceptional!👍🏻 Oh, and let's not forget about Blue, the adorable dog at the restaurant🐶
AMAZING! Our party of 10 stopped at this restaurant on our way back from Lake Tahoe. Words cannot express how kind the staff were (shoutout to Marissa). They went out of their way to make our experience top notch - the chef even gifted us her speciality sauce. 10/10 recommend!
Don’t normally leave reviews but tonight I really enjoyed the family restaurant experience at Merry Go Round. Super lovely staff and every dish we ordered was delightful :)
You have to try it at least once. Really good food. Prices seem high but for the amount of food you get, it makes sense.
While traveling through we found this GEM ~ ~ opens at 430pm and closed on Tuesday, so plan accordingly.
The family owned business was very relaxing, the wait staff was on the ball and the mature gentleman was very helpful with information.
The shrimp fried rice and shrimp with snow peas were very tasty.
Large portions so we brought food back to the camper.
We are going back before we leave Lone Pine.
Normally, I don’t leave reviews, soon as you check out my review history, you will see that, but this place was so damn good. Mr. Dan, his wife, and her son, Run a great place.
The food was absolutely some of the best Chinese food of ever had!
And Mr. Dan couldn’t have been more friendly, telling me places to go and see the changing colors, and other places to eat. I absolutely had a great time, listening to his stories and petting his dog, blue.
I’m sure other places here in lone Pine are pretty good, but if you’re swinging through, eat here. And get the paper wrapped chicken, it’s incredible!
If you ever go by the little town, called
Lone Pine, this place serving Chinese food out in the middle of nowhere is a Gold Mine. Their food is amazing and to eat it even better. I always laugh when people show pictures of just full plates. Ours are empty and we still can’t finish our order OMG there’s so much. That’s how good it is. Lol. 😂😘. But I promise you that we will finish it. 🤤
This restaurant has an easy California mountain town feel. We were able to eat outside on the front patio. We had the veggie egg rolls and jalapeno pork and it came with rice. The food was delicious, and the hot mustard was out of this world. The service was fast. We would return.
Super friendly owner with great service and delicious foods. Very big portions fill us up after an exhausting day hike at Mt. Whitney. Very fulfilling!
