Perfect for your first meal of the mountain. So dog friendly too. My waitress was incredible and so detailed to make our experience pleasant on an uncharacteristically windy day.

The Caesar salad was very fresh and super yummy, while my boyfriend enjoyed the Turkey club and fries. The hot apple pie à la mode was delicious, but the star of the show was our server, Jerri! What a sweetheart, and an huge asset to this restaurant!

I've eaten here several times over the years. The food is always great and I think they have expanded their menu since I was here last. Service was warm and attentive (Gerry!) Prices are high but given the location it seems in line with other places. My only suggestion would be to expand the beer selection.

Fresh home cooked food. Way better than getting processed fast food. We had the garlic chicken with veggies, soup and salad. The chicken needed salt and that’s the ONLY reason why I’m giving 4 stars. Besides the food being hot and fresh, the gentleman who served us was one of a kind. Extremely kind and respectful, even though we came in late at night he smiled and acted as if we were his first customers of the morning. It was a pleasure stopping in and we will be back!

This little brunch place has a pretty standard array of breakfast and lunch meals. It's a little on the expensive side, but similar to neighboring restaurants. We came in just before 11 and some of us wanted lunch and some of us wanted breakfast. With a bit of resistance from the waiter and a bit of waiting, we managed the feat. I had the Spanish Omelette, which was a delicious mistake the day before climbing Mount Whitney. By some miracle, I managed to keep my bowels together through that 18 hour hike.

Our family recently stayed in Lone Pine while my husband hiked Mt Whitney. One day we were looking for a local place to have lunch and we decided to eat at The Grill. We were not disappointed. The waiter was friendly and extremely attentive, the burgers we ordered were great, and the strawberry rhubarb pie was delicious! When my husband came off the mountain the next day he was starving and we immediately took him to The Grill to eat. He said it was the best burger he had eaten in a very long time and that it was exactly what he wanted. We will definitely stop by The Grill next time we find ourselves in Lone Pine.

Stopped for breakfast while on our road trip. It was a great decision! The food was really good, the potatoes were perfectly fried and so good. The portions were a good size and the cost was reasonable, two breakfast orders and drinks for just under $45.00 Although we didn’t order any pies they looked delicious. Service was quick and friendly, she even held a short conversation with us. The place was very clean, including the restroom. If we ever find our self’s back in this area we will definitely be back.

The service was very good. Regarding the food it was ok. Nothing extraordinary. But I definitely prefer supporting the local business, instead of always ending up in franchises and chains.
