Awesome burgers and the onion rings are the best you'll ever have. Service was fast and friendly as well. The rock shop next door is a must stop place as well. Great little town to make a pit stop.

Came back a second time during the weekend because the food was so great! I have never finished hash browns in my life!! :-) Leann and everyone there was very friendly! I would highly recommend visiting-you won't be disappointed-no matter what you order!!

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! We had intended on eating at a different place but after seeing pictures on social media of all of the pictures, ambiance and food we made a change of plans (thankfully) We had a wonderful time. Food was incredible, service welcoming, warm and friendly. We walked around the entirety of the restaurant about four times to look at all of the pictures and the theme was so captivating. So much so that I completely forgot to order dessert. They had what looked like homemade pies that looked amazing. That'll be on my list for our next visit. We will absolutely be back and encourage those in the area to experience the Mt Whitney Restaurant. It's really worth it.

While not the best burger, the chicken dinner was fantastic. Friendly service, and fast. I would come.back, but will get the chicken again. Also I wasn't a fan of the deep fried corn on the cob.

Always good service and food. The history on the walls is amazing. We have been stopping here now for 30 years now, and I have never been treated poorly or had bad food, even when they have to find space for us.

After doing nothing but fishing and drinking with a bunch of drunk civil engineers for 4 days I was beat. With a full 80 gallons of fuel and breakfast under my belt I was all paid up and ready to hit the road, then the waitress handed me a sack and said it's for later, just a snack. I'll tell you....it was about the best roast chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was very simple yet the flavors were as complex as any 4 star restaurant chicken I've had. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

If you are looking for a very cute place to eat with lots of old Hollywood western photos! The bar-restaurant itself is a site to see. Typical American foods. Breakfast was good.

Not a bad place to stop for a bite. Very small town type place. Nice people. Prices are pretty good for what you get and they have a varied enough menu to cater to many in the mood for American style food. Not sure about vegetarian options but I do not think they have very many.

Great little diner. We stopped late in the day and got some food on the way to Mammoth as other places were closed. The prices are reasonable and food is decent. Ordered chicken fried steak and was not disappointed. The chicken tenders were a tad on dry side and breading was thick, but filled us up to keep going on the road.

The food and service was great! The salmon was better than I have had at fancy restaurants in big cities. I will definitely be going back. Staff was nice and the diner is old but has charm. Parking was OK because it was off season, I imagine in the summer parking could be a nightmare.

Terrific lunch!! Sandwiches were delicious!! Loved the hundreds of old movie pictures and actors!! Lone Pine is where many of the old western movies were filmed! Literally just a few minutes out of town!!
