Lone Pine Smoke House

Really good meat! Very nice sides too, the potato salad and the coleslaw was well balanced and not too greasy. Who could think that this nice texas food was to be found in the middle of nowhere (sorry, Lone Pine residents!)? Advice to owners: dim lighting for more cozy environment. The outside is really nice so no reason the inside should be, too!

This Texas style bbq is melt in your mouth deliciousness. Best smoked turkey I have ever eaten. The chili is spicy delicious. They have 3 homemade bbq style sauces (hot, regular, Expresso). This is definitely worth the stop. Bring an appetite, because it is filling. The beer and wine selection could be better, but this isn't a bar like environment. It's all about the food!! Great family environment. They have a huge inside eating area and a decent outside patio area. Dogs are welcomed to join in the outside patio with zero issues. Love the fact they don't use plastic one use utensils, and have recycling. The place was very clean, and has an old world feel. Been driven by this place for years; now it's on my must stop when passing through.
