All the brunch spots were pretty filled up so I was hopeful for this alternative and my hope was not misplaced. I recommend something savory and something sweet. I can't remember the exact names of them but I got a rectangular croissant type pastry with mint goat cheese and pea sprouts and an oatmeal walnut cookie. As hard as it was to eat with my hands and not a fork and knife because of the sprouts. It was DELICIOUS.
The issue people have with oatmeal raisin cookies is the raisin so naturally there's none inside but amazing perfectly sweet and salty tastes. It's really hard for me to not go back in and get more.
The store was a little hard to find for me so if College Ave is behind you and you see Pivot across the street, keep going and it'll be on your right
Just bought the semolina sour dough. The woman at the counter was so helpful, and the bread is delicious. I love it. I lived in Europe for 6.5 years, and zi became spoiled by the fresh bread there. Makes me so happy that Amelia's is on par.
The pastries are amazing. The croissants, bread etc are flaky and fresh they melt in your mouth. The service was ok, nothing to brag about. The two young ladies there are not the friendliest but I guess they are doing their job.
I would have given the place a five unfortunately they don’t have the means to heat up your pastries.
It was worth the 22 mile drive.
This shop was very cute! I enjoyed the selections of products along with the food I got. I got a half loaf and it seemed like it still went bad quickly. The brownie I got was very delicious; great blend of salty meets sweet chocolate. The person there was nice and told us about the special along with some conversation! Great place, will be fun to come back.
Amazing pastries! The chocolate croissant is to die for. Nothing bad on the menu, and friendly staff!
One of the best bakeries in indy!
My favorite are croissants, pecan cookies, cinnamon rolls, semolina loaf, also this apple brioche tart is amazing. Kind of prefer their dessert more than savory pastries.. I recommend going there as early as u can coz many options will be sold out in the afternoon.

We ordered breakfast from Amelia’s recently to see if their breakfast sandwiches were worth the hype they get.
I got the sausage sandwich and let me tell ya, that thing was INSANE! The amount of egg that they put on it is crazy! The sandwich overall was awesome. I also got a cinnamon roll on the side which was also incredible!
This was definitely a great experience. I’ll easily try their breakfast sandwich again when I can.
Wow their bread and pastries are amazingly delicious!
I got a croissant, a pain au Chocolat, a spinach croissant, quign aman and a half pain de Mie , country loaf.
Everything is so good and tasty. And price is so reasonable.
Wish they open their branch in Downtown Chicago.
Staffs were very friendly and nice, too.
Time to update this review with a little more depth. Connected to Bluebeard, this gem produces some of the finest breads and treats in all of Indy...rivaled only by the Blue Oven Bakery in Cincinnati.
Baguettes, specialty loaves, Cranberry-Walnut bread, croissants, oatmeal pecan cookies, panforte (Christmas time), and so much more. Everything is good...everything. My only wish is that they had a location up north in Carmel.
It's a little on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Get whole loaves, half loaves, and sliced/unsliced. They do have a small selection of meats, cheeses, and Italian good in the store as well. If they sold wine it could be a one stop shop for a nice outing in the park.
This is a small and lovely bakery. My friends and I are hooked on their brownies. They always have samples in case you want to try something before buying. And don't even get me started on their bread 🍞. And they are very professional, sweet, and caring. They actually take time to tell you all the ingredients they used to bake something and the health benefits of some of the ingredients ( if you are into making healthy choices).
Very tasty bread and pastries as well as local groceries. Really enjoyed the chocolate croissant, bread, zucchini pastry, and the shortbread and baguette were fine also. I also love that they are open later in the day. The staff is always kind and have good recommendations!
This place is amazing. I got the Capocollo Twist which was the most amazing savory croissant have ever had with the perfect amount of saltness coming from the Italian find meat and cheese. I also had the orange Dreamsicle croissant, well, the first white bite was underwhelming. The second bite have explosion of amazing feeling, which led me very disappointed when I took my last bite.
I must say, Indiana does not have much going for it, but for someone who travels across the country to try patisseries for a living, this is Indiana’s redeeming factor.
