Soho Hibachi

For me, the food is usually good. However, after I ate there a few days ago, my mother got BAD food poisoning that lasted multiple days from it. Since we shared a dish and I was fine, we figure it came from the mushrooms (I don't eat mushrooms). Then I got to thinking and the other person I know who has gotten food poisoning from this place was the only one to eat their mushrooms and the only one to get sick. The food is good for the price, but be careful if you eat the mushrooms they put in it. They seem to have a problem with getting bad ones.

I will never eat there again. There was not enough meat for the lunch meal. It had 4 shrimp and a small portion of steak with a plate filled with dry white rice. Charged extra for a small cup of teriyaki sauce. Couldn’t order extra meat unless I ordered a whole meal. The man told me sauce was free if I ate there.

Came to 30.00 for two 10.25 dinner specials, a side of noodles, 2 drinks. Drinks are self serve 2 dollars a piece. If you pay by card there is a spot for tip tho only one time were we waited on (the food brought to us from kitchen). We liked the drink counter with all the condiments, table wear, and to go boxes for customers use as needed. Food plates were absolutely huge and filled to brim. No skimping. Could feed 3 ppl from it w plenty of meat. Rice and noodles had mini veggies. A TV blaring away was the only atmosphere in this casual place. Alot of carry out ppl came in as the food took 20 min but thank God it was cooked good. Food made to order shouldn't be rushed as happens at fast food. A oriental man came out sweeping and cleaning as he asked how we liked our meal so I guess he was the owner. Try this place for yourself.

Their Hibachi is pretty well price and you get a good amount of food the staff is really helpful they have some interesting drinks it's too bad that the Lobby is closed for Coronavirus. Best fried rice around. it was a one-off case but me and my wife both got extremely sick from eating this on April 27th 2021
