The one star isn’t so much for the McDonald’s itself, but for the location/placement. I live near there and can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost rear ended someone turning from the light and the have to slam on their brakes to turn into the parking lot. Plus you can’t hardly enter the parking lot because of the drive through line.

If you order inside you’re most likely to wait longer than the mile long drive thru line. However, the drive thru line isn’t efficient either. I understand there’s employee shortages and what not, but this seems to be more about poor training and lack of caring than lack of help. Expect better from one of the nicer locations.

Hey McD’s Lakesite, you guys and gals are gonna need to do some retraining for drive thru attendants. Starting to miss items from my order, not once but twice in a month’s time. This is unusual for y’all. Whatever changes you made, go back and revisit original processes and fix it. It’s not too difficult to check the customers order to match to a receipt before handing it out the window. Come in now!

Well with covid, everything's drive through only so of course the drive-thru line was a mile and a half long. On top of all that it seemed like they air fried my Big Mac bun, because it was crispy and a little burnt tasting. It had one regular meat Patty and one quarter pound meat Patty no middle bun and tasted 2 days old. The fries you would think with them being that busy would be good fresh and hot....... Well I guess that's why I don't get paid to think because they were soggy and nowhere close to hot. Like they were way over cooking them to compensate for being short-staffed or something. The only thing that saved them from me giving them one star was that the drive-thru line moved at a decent pace. But again that's probably easy to do when you're cooking up 5 lb of french fries at a time.

I am a manager of various McDonald's in Savannah Georgia for 19 years. This Hixson location is trying to pass off a clear medium McCafe cup as a medium foundation drink cup. It clearly says on the clear cup medium McCafe. And clearly says on styrofoam white cup medium fountain. I have been in town visiting family as my Mom is dying is hospice. 8 times now they tried to pass off the wrong cup to me and argument insues over the cup. So everyone be ware. The medium foundation drink cups are styrofoam and white. Do not let them hand you a clear see through cup as a medium foundation drink cup. I have filed a internal report on this matter and names of employees doing this.
