Awesome restaurant with a broad selection of entrées and appetizers. We had the filet mignon benedict, and the Seabass. Both were excellent. The pork belly appetizer was nice. The three onion soup was very very good. We also had their crème brûlée, and it was a 10 out of 10! Will definitely be back!
This place was delicious, and there really isn’t anything I can think of that was wrong with it. I forgot the name of what i got but it was very delicious and flavorful, perfectly cooked. Good drink and dessert selection too. Overall, fantastic place which I highly recommend.
Excellent menu. We sat at the chef's counter and watched everything bring prepared and it was worth it. We come down to Hilton Head every year and would do this destination again in a heartbeat.
Have been to the sage room twice now, food is very good. Price is up there though so it’s not a regular stop for our family. The most recent visit was in February 2023 with my wife. We had two apps, the Steak Egg Rolls and the French Onion Soup. Both were very flavorful and did not last long as we polished them off quickly. My wife had the Filet that come with a single Shrimp for garnish and Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes. I had the Short Rib with Mash Potatoes and Green Beans. Both dishes were very memorable and nothing was left behind. Would go again for a date or with family.
Not on the beaten path Very good quality food overcome the hidden location and appears to be a favorite of the locals. While we went for the fish dishes, their beef selections looked very good. Scallops are cooked just right, large portion, with a risotto cake that has a crunchy exterior and creamy interior. Tile fish special was flaky and juicy. Tuna dish was large and flavorful – recommend “rare” not medium rare.” They have a grilled romaine salad (not on the menu) that is outstanding and large enough to share. Waitstaff are attentive. Make a reservation to set at the chef table if you enjoy watching the chefs at work.
Tony our server was awesome! We celebrated my co workers birthday yesterday and she loved the surprise candle on the 🍰🎂 cake. The Lobster 🦞 pasta was very smooth, flavorful yet not too creamy. Music was nice! Will be back again.

Hands down. Food and service every time is unmatched and can't be surpassed. I was single for 20 years ate out every meal and I consider myself a foodie.. sage room will impress anyone and everyone you bring there. If you bring a first date there.. you will be getting action later for sure. It is consistently top-notch every single time I go.

This is definitely a must visit!! Great atmosphere, service and staff. Ask for Tobey, he’ll hook you up right!! Shrimp, tuna and egg roll apps were outstanding!! 4 filets were perfection!! Grilled shrimp topper was awesome as well!! Bread pudding, strawberry and brownie desserts were the bomb!! Please try it, thank me later!! 😎👍
Fine dining experience here at The Sage Room. Small, cozy atmosphere was perfect for our Valentine's dinner. Our party of 6 all enjoyed their menu choices. We say at a table, but other diners sat at the counter where they could see their meals being prepared by the Chef.
My scallops with Parmesan risotto cake was delicious. Hubby enjoyed the Sage Room Benedict Filet. Service was impeccable - water glass was promptly refilled and server checked back often to ensure we had everything we wanted.
Highly recommend for a special occasion.
