Best quiet little bar in the area. Mostly all regulars, and never slammed even when Dickson St. is a zoo. Always solid beer options on tap, and their Bloody Mary shots are the only way I can enjoy a Bloody Mary. Staff is super friendly too

We went on a Thursday evening, around 7:45. It's a small space with a variety of seating types and a very chill vibe. It was quite when we got there, which meant we had full reign of the Gamecube! The local beer selection on tap is great, with a cocktail menu and cheap bottled beer, too. Later in the evening, the tables started filling up with what looked like couples or even first dates. This would be an excellent meetup spot for after work, date night, or tender-type date. We will absolutely be back, with GameCube games to donate!

We used to go to this bar about once a month during a slow weekend day. we have an infant son who was colicky so walking to the bar kept him quiet and my husband could grab a quick drink before we walked back home (and yes this mom always get water). Unfortunately, we are getting ready to move and wanted to pay homage to this bar before saying goodbye to Fayetteville. We walked to the bar one last time today wirh a friend at about about 11 am. The bar tender and one other customer was there. Bartender took one look at us and said it was against the law to serve my husband because my infant son was there and told three adults to leave. It's not against any law I've seen for a minor to enter a bar but I do understand they are entitled to make their own rules. It was just rude the way it was handled. Basically kicked us out. Kind of a bummer. I'm sure the bartender just wanted to hang out with his friend in private. Why else would you turn down a paying customer? He could have offered our friend a drink or suggested whoever was holding the infant go to the neighboring restaurant where we could still hang out together.

Wonderful bar. Small but fun, go on Thursday evening (get there before 7) and try the wings. Oh my, they are simply wonderful! I highly recommend this place!

Incredible place. Best service and nice selection in a great location. It's rumored that this bar had been frequented by Tom Petty and there are still common Steve Buscemi sightings.

You would think a bar off of the Greenway would draw big crowds or at least small crowds with quick turnover, but in my times visiting, I am usually one out of 3 or 4 guests. It's usually a quick stop for me because the environment doesn't seem to draw me in. May just be my demographic? I'm 31, enjoy some craft brews, UofA sports, small talk with my neighbors. I don't mind trivia or things like that, though I don't necessarily seek them out. But each of my visits to Prairie Street has been a mostly silent room. The place seems alright, but something is amiss. I am not a fan of the little cubby with the Game Cube and board games, that's for sure. Just seems like there are better options along the Greenway, where folks craft their own beers: Fossil Cove or Columbus House. And if you are in the immediate area, you at enjoy Crisis Brewery more.
