Firehouse Subs

Ordered a small and a medium sandwich, and 2 waters. Totaled nearly 20 bucks. They tried to charge us 5 bucks for drinks we didn't order, then acted really put out when we pointed it out. So far, we have been sitting here for over 10 mins waiting for our two little sandwiches and we are the ONLY people in here. All the tables are dirty, and the young lady behind the counter is just standing there talking. This is just sad. I think this might be my last time coming to firehouse.

I was in the mood for a salad and wasn't interested in a pre-made from Walmart, so I decided stop by here instead. It most definitely hit the spot as i forgot how good the salads are from here. Also it's double point Monday, so I'd be a fool to not stop here and take the suggestion on the Italian Grilled Chicken Salad. It wasn't what I expected, but it was worth the purchase.

My company ordered 15 sandwiches on Wednesday for today (Friday). First off, the customer service was horrid, we called Wednesday night to confirm the online order and were told we would have to call back on Friday morning to confirm our already paid for order. After calling at open (10am) we were told “we’re short staffed and if we get ‘monkey stomped’ we won’t be able to make them” so we were told that the order we have already paid for, which was only 15 cold 6” subs with chips. EVERY SINGLE ORDER WAS WRONG. It’s like the staff just completely ignored the orders that were filled out. Firehouse, if you are short staffed I suggest you pay your employees more so you can get competent help, I know y’all can afford to.

I have been here many times and haven’t had a bad experience till today…..Took 20 minutes for two sandwiches and the bread was very dry maybe old or left in the toaster too long….they where busy but not slammed, they had time to share stories and laugh about whatever the story was about….I am not saying you can’t multitask and enjoy you work but there is a time for work and time for the other…
