China Express

Very tasty dishes. We tried both veggie & chicken egg foo yung, broccoli & chicken, veggie fried rice, cheese won tons, & sesame chicken. We will definitely order again. They are trying hard to keep customers safe. Carry-out only right now, plastic shield up, air circulator in the area where customers line up for their orders, hand sanitizer available for customers. They have a sign requiring masks. Sadly, a couple customers ignored that, but most did mask during a very busy Friday night. We're lucky to have them in our town!

I really hate saying this but I have to. For over two years Ive loved and ordered Singapore Mai fun from China Express. Like all good restaurants it has always taste the same, same recipe and same ingredients until 2 days ago. I even brought the original order back for a replacement thinking they forgot to put the curry into the dish. When I say it tasted different I’m not talking subtley it was like ordering a cheeseburger but getting broiled catfish instead. Money is extremely tight right now like most of us are experiencing and I saved literally for two months specifically for China express and now I am afraid to ever order my favorite dish again. I even awkwardly called after getting the replacement to ask if they changed the seasoning to a different brand and I was told it’s the same one but it isn’t it’s not even close whatsoever and I spent good money on something that I threw into my trash after picking the shrimp out of it

When placing an online lunch special order, it said that I could substitute rice noodles for $1.50 extra. So, in the section provided to list special instructions, I noted, “substitute rice noodles for lo mein noodles.” When I went to pick up my order, she says what does this mean substitute rice noodles for lo mein noodles? I said, I need rice noodles instead of the lo mein noodles because, I am allergic to wheat. She then tells me, they don’t make substitutions for lunch specials. So, I told her I didn’t want it. She then went on the website where I placed my order, (a third party site) and said, canceled order because she didn’t want the food she offered. I really did want the food I ordered. She didn’t give me the food I ordered. I will never go there again. It’s only OK tasting anyway.
