Fantastic! The best Japanese sushi on the east coast if not in the USA. Gyoza, edamame & sushi are mouth watering. The service is spectacular - same folks for years. One of my favorite restaurants. Perfect BYOB to celebrate an occasion or start a tradition with that special someone.

It is a very clean, warm, intimate, and authentic Restaurant. The owner is Japanese , most of the other workers are from Vietnam 😄 Everyone is very polite and attentive to detail ! Foods very fresh, and place has the most authentic Japanese feel compared to others spots in the area We left feeling refreshed:) and hope we can return again very soon !!!! ありがとうございました !!!

It’s underneath a track overpass and by a wide road. That said, the food was amazing. The fish was great. I do wish they got rid of the slightly mildewy smell in the air. I still highly recommend.

*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* This place was recommended to me by a friend and it is hands down one of the best restaurant to go to for Japanese comfort food. We drove from Philly to New Jersey for this restaurant that sits alone next to a main road and it was worth it. The interior has a traditional Japanese style to it, with low ceiling and wooden everything. Very cozy. Food wise, forget about the sushi, the gems of this place are their hot foods, dishes that I'd consider Japanese comfort food that just warms up your soul with every bite. I loved every single one of their hot dishes. Great taste, great portions, and great price. DINNER Hamachi Kama (yellowtail collar) - not on the menu but you can ask for it. This grilled yellowtail collar is grilled to perfection, with a crispy skin and super tender meat. You can taste the freshness of the fish. It's simple yet delicious. Agedashi tofu - I've always wanted to try this dish and it was pleasant. The tofu was fried on the surface, and that fried portion soaks up the sauce just enough to complement the taste of the tofu. The sauce was umami but not to salty, you can drink it with the tofu. I treat it like a soup almost. Nasu Shigiyaki - the eggplant was huge. Chicken with miso taste went well with the steamed eggplant, the eggplant cut some of the umami taste of the chicken miso so it works well. Interior was very hot, be careful. Chirashi - pretty standard chirashi. Fish is pretty fresh. *VERDICT* I would DEFINITELY come back again when I get the chance.'

Nice hidden gem for fresh quality sushi. My family and I have been coming for years and it never disappoints. Highly recommend the sashimi bowl or their sushi sets!

This place was amazing. The staff, the food, and the building. The staff went above and beyond. The sushi chefs skilled in art and flavor with the cuts and placing of the fish! Definitely going back again and again.

Just the best, every time! All items are high quality and made with care. The ambiance is nice and cozy and dimly lit..a perfect setting to enjoy intimate conversations over an incredible meal. Get the chirashi. Also, don't forget to byo sake! Kanpai!

Probably one of the best sushi restaurants in New Jersey. Make sure you make your reservation first - especially for lunch. The place gets packed. You will often see Japanese executives from Subaru here, attesting to the quality of the sushi. If you didn't know, Subaru North America is headquartered in Camden, New Jersey (previously in Cherry Hill, NJ), not far from Collingswood.
